Welp got the 2 endings, both fed and didn't fed polly (evil run mouhahahah)
game was awesome, quite short but quite nice, really nice visuals and sound effects
Thank you so much!! Im happy you liked it)
I gave the cracker to Polly. I think that's a Blue (the animated series) reference right? :D Great series. Anyways...
It took me a while to realise that there was a banana on the floor :D
It's kind of annoying that the terminal gives prompts and ask twice for confirming - there is nothing else to do. And it's not possible to say no. Not sure if that is intentional design or accident.. Can't say I'm a fan of that decision.
Not sure what happened after the engine started - sounded like it fired some projectile in some direction.
It's an interesting game - the best way to make a narrative is to give just enough information that the player is asking himself questions. Then the player wants more story. That's better than giving too much information and the player pushing it away.
Good luck!
Duuuude! Thanks for a long comment.
I dont know to what Polly refers in original, but I get him from the game Space Station 13, where he sits in engineering location and says some random phrases (my friends said that "Poly wants a cracker" is a reference to Nirvana, but im not aware of that). Feeding him with crackers was my idea, and its working as kind of a path to first ending. Ill look up the Blue series, thanks.
Yeah banana is kind of ref to Space Station 13 too.
I just tried to not waste so much players time on terminal, so yeah buttons are quite straight froward, ill remember your advice for future.
After engine started a small Singularity appeared in the green shield area. Thats an engine!
Again thank you for your reply!
I know there was a parrot, I don't really know anything else. but maybe the parrot is all I need
Thank you for playing)
woo feeds the birds from snacks taken with coins, cool
Thank you very much for playing! ;)
But have you finished the game?.. Its got 2 endings!
I'm happy I could feed the parrot some crackers before being sucked into a black hole!
Glad you liked it! :D Thank you for playing!
The scene with the crackers, polly and the bannana really spoke to me. Great game super fun and I appreciate the envrionment a lot
Yeah had a good time coding and modeling it too) Glad you liked that. Thank you for playing!
I got huge respect for anyone who can model because I just cant. Super impressive
Many thanks) Appreciate it
Got the 2 endings. Realize i am a cube this whole time by looking at the shadow in the end. So that is the meaning of singularity. Nice story, nice atmosphere.
Glad you liked my game, thank you for playing!
had these warnings running the linux version? is your .blend files okay?
Uhhhm, you know, I use Windows... On win all seems good, I guess i just cant see those warnings.
I guess it's because I imported these meshes by ID, not path, but as you can see its automatically changes to path reference.
Is game playable or it's just crashes?
no it is very playable I am just wondering if these are contributing to the looks of the game and you don't want them deleted
oh okay, i appreciate it. Actually its my first time doing all these stuff, so i havent thought about compatibility on all planforms. Thanks for playing) Hope you enjoyed the game
