A nice demo. Looking forward to seeing more. Here's what I think, so far:

  • Okay, so getting injured is your biggest liability. Injured people have to recover and that takes time, which takes resources.
  • Resources are generous, which is okay for the demo. Area balance is okay, but could be better balanced as more features are added.
  • They really should be able to assign themselves on their own when idle, then reassign as they want to do something else.
  • There's a bug/exploit where fast-clicking the commit to expedition queues up a duplicate.
  • Everyone is very cute considering how old they must be.
  • The animations are the key point, here.
  • The AI voices are off...doesn't feel right with some of the script.
  • Overall, I like the core ideas behind their characters, but their personalities are pretty one-note. The choices you make as the MC should be a little more influential or defining of your character so you can better-or-worse relate to the others.
  • There's the usual uncanny valley and consistency issues with the art and voices, but there isn't much way around it.

Heya and thank you for the feedback, I will answer the ones that I have an answer for and note what I don't!

  • That is very much intentional and there are mechanics to alleviate that. Both Mimi and especially Aris speed up recovery when assigned to the infirmary with the injured person. There has to be some risk involved in taking on fights in the wasteland.
  • There are ideas for resource sinks in the game, one already implemented for Magpie, not sure if you came across her, more to come though!
  • An Idle mode is not something I've considered, I'm writing it down. Could be useful!
  • That exploit is noted!
  • Yeah, suspension of disbelief really on that one. Yes its a design decision cause at the end of the day it IS a fetish game.
  • The AI voices are at the end of the day never as good as real voice actors. But it's a cost decision for me at the end of the day. If they annoy then there is at least a voice volume slider and every said word is written so nothing will be missed.
  • So the choices as the MC. Well, that's hard cause of how much dialogue will be making its way into the game, having branching storylines on top of the character development and that they say different things depending on their evolution stage and their bond to you. It's more of a scope thing, if I did that I'd still be in the early writing stage.

Thank you for the feedback though, and thank you for playing!
More is yet to come.
