How does your game fit the theme?
I interpreted Singularity as the point which everything merges into one. So in this game you have a world or slimes whose goal is to each consume every other slime in order to reach this so called Slime Singularity, and you play as your own slime and go on a journey through a dungeon for the same goal to consuming your enemies and becoming one with everything.

What Game Engine did you use to make this game?
Godot

Love the incremental. But i think the max health +35% is useless since you never heal. Very punishing. and make you avoid mistake to survive.

Some part are hard and i keep mistaking... But overall pretty good!

Thanks so much for playing! I'm really new to game dev and sound/music is definitely a weak point I need to work on

This was a really nice game, as other said it would've been cool to be more on theme, i get your idea but it doesn't translate into the theme that well

sounds would have been great

A boss could be good (if there is one and i died before shame on me

Also the game ui breaks when going fullscreen, that's a problem

The light effects are really nice

Thanks so much for playing! I'm not going to lie, my connection to the theme was pretty loose lol. Funny enough the only music I was able to make for the game was for the Final Boss, but I don't think I balanced it well enough so that a player could consistently get to him. I appreciate the feedback!

Overall a really fun game, I like roguelikes a lot lol, but there are some things that could be better:

  • The game doesn't relate to the singularity theme that much.
  • I didn't find any way to heal, only increase the max hp. (maybe I didn't get to that point?)
  • There aren't any sound effects or music, would be cool to have them.
  • The dashing is also maybe a bit too short? it feels too punishing.

Other than that, I really liked the different enemy types and how its like a bullet hell!

Thanks so much for playing! Yeah, during playtests I realized the max health thing didn't really translate well, and I should have had a dedicated slime drop for healing. The most fun I had playing my game was definitely playing against the bullet slimes (blue and purple), so I'm so glad to hear you say you liked the bullet hell aspect! Appreciate the feedback!

This game is really good. Most polish game in game jam.

The Theme:

It was not really match of the theme, but it had some into the theme.

The Fun:

Very fun i liked the different enemies and some power ups and i understand it pretty well and good smooth controls.

Art:

This was like playing a steam game and was really good and the lights and dark was good.

Mechanics:

I liked the mechanics on this like dash and it was good and simple and movements were very good!

Sound:

There was no sound on the game.

Overall:

Very fun game with really good polish on it.

Feedback:

Add sound effects and some music to it.

Maybe make the hp to heal like some checkpoints in every 5 levels.

Thank you so much! All your positive feedback made me extremely grateful I entered this game jam. While I don't think I deserved them, your statements about most polished game and it looks like a Steam game about made me cry lol.
