KENNEDY: https://studiosriba.itch.io/kennedy

It's the 1960s. You're Lee Harvey Oswald — a former Marine, political outcast, and a man sitting in a quiet Toronto restaurant just hours before one of the most infamous moments in American history.

Across the table sits Guy Banister, an FBI-linked operative with a simple proposition: history doesn't happen by accident.

This is a game about listening, exploring, questioning... and deciding.

Every conversation reveals another piece of the puzzle. Every object hides context. And somewhere beneath the paranoia, politics, and manipulation lies a choice that could change the course of history forever.

Hi everyone,

We’re Happy Seal Games, a two-person indie game studio. After 2,5 - 3 months of development, we’ve finally released the first alpha demo of ZAR.

ZAR is a 3D physics-based roguelike where you use dice, relics, and augments to create powerful combinations and achieve the highest score possible. Inspired by deckbuilding roguelikes, ZAR combines strategic decision-making with the unpredictability and physics of rolling dice.

In ZAR, every run is different. Choose your path, discover new relics and augments, upgrade your dice, and build unique strategies to overcome increasingly challenging enemies.

The current alpha demo is an early look at the game and includes the core gameplay loop, dice interactions, upgrades, combat encounters, and progression systems.

The demo is available for Windows and Web, and it is completely free to play.

Play the ZAR Alpha Demo right now on your browser&windows!

We would really appreciate any feedback, especially about the gameplay loop, dice mechanics, overall theme, and things we can improve during development.

Your feedback will help us shape ZAR as we continue working towards the Steam demo release.

Thank you for playing!

I wanted to try your game, but itch.io is currently showing a quarantine warning for the page, so I can't download it right now. I’ll gladly check it out once the quarantine is removed. Thanks for sharing! :D

not problem bro :>

Hi everyone!

We’re Lycan Studio, a small indie game and board game studio from Hungary.

We wanted to share a bit about our game, Monastery, a roguelike deckbuilder that we’ve been working on for over four years. It’s currently in Steam Early Access, and we’re getting close to its full release.

We started working on Monastery back in 2021, after cancelling a turn based multiplayer strategy game that we had spent several years developing. In the end, we had to admit that the concept just wasn’t working, so we decided to try something different and move towards single player games.

Monastery is a roguelike deckbuilder, but we wanted to do things a little differently. There’s less emphasis on RNG compared to many other games in the genre, giving you more freedom to plan your runs and make meaningful decisions. The game has also become part of the wider lore of our setting, which we are expanding through our novellas and board games.

The combat system is also a bit unusual. Enemies can attack you from both sides, so you always have to think about where you want to defend and which side you’re willing to leave vulnerable. It makes positioning and decision making just as important as the cards you play.

The demo is available for Windows and contains around 3–4 hours of gameplay.

If this sounds like something you might enjoy, feel free to check it out. We’d be really happy to hear what you think!

RETRO FPS
A little game by me!!
if you can appreciate such game you can play it in browser here!
A very FUN Game! IMO ;)
https://coa-100.itch.io/retro-fps

Hello! I've just launched my first game on itch - Dot Siege, a turn-based territory game that plays in the browser. It's the pen-and-paper game a lot of us played in the margins of a school.
Free, no account, nothing loaded while you play. Three AI levels, or two players on one device.

It's an early playtest, and the thing I'd most like to know: does  Normal feel fair, and does Hard feel hard? The bot searches and builds sieges rather than waiting for you to walk into one - but so far I've only ever tested it against myself.

Guide the Spark, defy gravity and uncover the signal... and most importantly, have fun with the game!

Thanks man, I'll definitely test your game! Now I'm leaving tomorrow for a week and I probably won't be able to test it until I come back, but I'll do it. Question: there are 2 downloads, KOSMOOOOOOOOOOOO.zip and kosmo-ultimate-.zip, could explain the 2 files? I guess the ultimate one is the main game?

Hey Emzizl, as promised I gave your game a go today. Here is some feedback from my session.

  • I thought it was quite fun and I wished I was able to survive to more waves than I did ;-) So far I only managed level 9and  wave 48. This is when giant purple balls are coming, almost filling up half of the screen each, that's tough!
  • I had troubles with the command though but this may be because I'm using an azerty keyboard. So moving with WASD on my left hand and managing E to fire and R to recharge, while aiming with the mouse was difficult to be honest. If I could shoot with the click button and maybe recharge with right-click or spacebar, I would manage much better. What I did in the end is that I left the pointer of the mouse in the middle of the screen and kept on moving and firing around it. It may not be the best technique but it worked until the giant balls. I could also try to play with a gamepad with mapped keys.
  • The music loop stopped after a while, not sure it was meant to do that. It would be better to have the music carrying on. Currently the game is lacking a bit of sound I think, to make it a bit more immersive.
  • There are 2 hard modes. I tried them both, but I'm not sure what makes them different. You could have a help page to explain.
  • The small yellow balls get stuck to you quickly and are not easy to avoid.
  • I reached the point where there are very small enemies, before the giant balls, but I couldn't see exactly what they were.
  • Overall the action was quite fast from the beginning, making it difficult to pay attention to the information on the top left, like stamina, levels, etc. Maybe the first waves could be slower so that we can realize what is going on.
  • The recharge part comes with a delay, but I can't see any indication of how long it is taking, which is a bit frustrating as we don't know if the recharge has worked or not until you see the firing again.
  • Often on the navigation menu I lost the pointer of the mouse and it is difficult to highlight the options like "classic", "hard mode", etc. In this case I closed the game and start again to see the mouse pointer.
  • There is quite a lot of russian (?) writing which I couldn't read, especially the score page when game over... but during the game the info is in English (like stamina, level, wave). It would be better to have everything in English to be accessible to more people.

I hope this is useful. Don't hesitate to give me some feedback about Bouncenoid, like the levels you reached, etc.

Thank you very much for checking out my game! I’m very grateful and glad that you liked it. I’m working on fixing and translating the entire game so that everyone can enjoy it. Thank you for your feedback! :)

Today, my friend and I want to play your game, and I’ll write to you.

We really enjoyed the game, but we couldn’t complete the first level simply because we’re not very good at it. But overall, we liked it; it was just a bit difficult because we don’t know English very well.

(+1)

Thank you for your feedback. I'm very surprised that you couldn't complete the 1st level, especially if you enabled infinite lives, which gives you infinite tries/lives to destroy all the bricks. You use the arrows for left and right and the down arrow to charge & launch the ball, that's pretty much all there is to do. But if you enjoyed the game with just that very first level, it's ok.

Hi everyone! I just released my first game — Adrift, a one-button space survival odyssey.

You guide a burning meteor with a single input: hold to fly, release to fall. That's the whole control scheme — There's also an endless Eternal mode with a daily course, plus Race grids against rival pilots.

It's free, plays in the browser, and works great on phones — built mobile-first.

Play it here: https://ultimatedeveloper.itch.io/adrift

This is my first release, so honest feedback means a lot.  Thanks for reading.

At first glance its just a re-skinned version of those flappy bird games.

However it is very well done. The music is good, the gameplay is good.

Its probably the most polished version of a very simple game concept I have seen.

The end animation where your asteroid gets captured by a planet is cute also, very satisfying.

Speaking of first games, would you mind taking a look at mine and giving me some feedback.

https://mercstudios.com/play/startalon332

I just played your game the controls and looks like one of those classic space shooter games.  However, feel smooth and the music and lyrics definitely creative.
Fast-paced, easy to pick up, also the UI is really clear and easy to understand. Everything is well organized, the important information is easy to find, and the clean layout makes the game feel smooth and polished. Great job overall! The game feels polished, the gameplay is fun, and the UI and VFX is clear and easy to follow. Keep it up and keep improving!

So umm after sacrificing my right arm and my youth- i made the game! Yay!
