it hurts my brain, good game tho
Thank you so much for playing and for stopping by! ^^
I really appreciate you giving it a try! :D
This is great ! It was laggy when I tryed it yesterday, but now it work like a charm !
Good job for the infinite fold idea, and for the realisation ! You really need to think hard to find the correct fold, and I like it ! :)
Thank you so, so much for your kind words and for taking the time to try it again! It really means a lot to me that you enjoyed the game and that it’s running smoothly now! ^^
I’m especially happy that you like the infinite folding idea! It was quite a challenge to come up with the mechanics and make everything work in such a little time, so hearing that you enjoy figuring out how to do the correct folds and take the time to enjoy it makes me really happy :D
Thank you again for your support and for playing my game! It truly means a lot! <3
Might be a bug in Safari, and other Mac browsers? When I start the game, it goes to full screen mode, however the game canvas is only a tiny rectangle in the upper left hand corner, which makes it really difficult to read the instructions, grab the corner handles precisely. From the little bit I did manage to play, visuals, sounds, and mechanics seemed to complement each other really well, and the idea is a calm and refreshing take on the theme.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
I’ve just uploaded a small updated version that I hope will fix the issue. If it’s not too much trouble, could you please try it and see if the bug is fixed this time?
I’m sorry, I don’t own a Mac at the moment, so I can’t test it myself ^^”””
works fine after your update, so seems you squeezed the bug!
holy moly it's crazy u've done this in a week!!! i couldn't understand how to pass level 2 tho, i may be dense but could've been better if everything was gradually introduced (like the possible cuts etc.)
Thank you so, so much!
I completely understand that it’s a bit too difficult at the beginning. One of my goals was to make a little introduction or tutorial on how to play, rather than having a hidden little button with some text… but unfortunately, time didn’t allow me to finish that part :’[
Once the Jam voting period ends, I’m planning on adding more modes, but before that, the first thing I’ll fully develop will be the tutorial. I want to make it really polished as well (maybe that’s why I couldn’t finish it on time… ooppsss… ^^”””)
I’ll also add to my TODO list the idea of making the first levels a bit easier while gradually introducing the power-ups, as you suggested.
Thank you again for the feedback, and stay tuned!
There is a problem when starting again from level 2 u can't anymore fold the paper (like locked).
Anyway cool concept, go go!
Thank you for the feedback, and thank you so much for playing my game! :D
If you don’t mind, I’d like to ask for a bit more information about the issue, since I tried to find the bug myself but couldn’t figure it out ^^””
Were you using any power-ups when the problem occurred? Do you have a screenshot, or could you tell me how to reproduce the bug so I can try to figure out why it happens?
Thanks again for letting me know!
Very well done ! That is one of the most enjoyable game I have played so far.
It lags though. I wish there was a PC export.
Thanks for the feedback and for enjoying my game!
I’ve just uploaded an updated version of the game to try to fix the laggy gameplay issue, as well as the Windows executable you asked for :]
Thank you ! The windows executable runs much more smoothly
I thought it was executed really well, especially with how creatively it incorporated the theme! Very solid game!
Thank you so much!!
I’m really glad that you like my game :D
I felt that it is very slow, but in general I loved the art and how well done it seems
Thank you so much for playing!!
And yes, I completely understand your point. The game is indeed a bit slow-paced, and it’s also not as intuitive as I originally intended for first-time players.
Thank you for your feedback, and stay tuned for more! I’ll try to bring in more game modes to give the game even more personality and variety. ^^
Nononono, but it's GREAT, I mean I loved ART and MUSIC, EVERYTHING IS FINE, but I probably felt it was slow because I play faster games in general. BUT IT'S GREAT...
Thank you very much!
I know you didn’t mean it in a bad way, don’t worry. I really appreciate suggestions from all kinds of players! I want to make a game that everyone can enjoy once it’s finished, so every little piece of advice is always welcome here :D
And I’m really glad you enjoyed the art and music as well! It makes me really happy to hear that you liked the overall feel of the game, even if the pacing wasn’t quite your thing ^^
Thank you so much for all the kind comments and for taking the time to play my game! It really means a lot to me <3
JAJAJAJAJJA well then I hope your game continues to grow and looks and feels MUCH BETTER...
it was really laggy for me idk why but it made it hard to play, looks really polished and fun otherwise
I’m trying to fix this issue at this very moment. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. It seems to be something off with the exported html executable due to some godot addons malfunction I think. Some similar issue also happened when submitting and that’s why I ended up submitting late… However, when I solve the issue I’ll let you know. Thank you very much for playing my game! And also thank you for stopping by and give some feedback ^^
As I promised in my last reply, I’m here again to let you know that version v1.1.0 of the game is out now!
Although I don’t think the lag issue is completely solved, I’ve also uploaded a Windows executable that seems to work perfectly fine (I hope ^^””).
Also, while researching ways to solve the issue, I found out that some users say the game might be laggy depending on the browser, or that it might work better with “Hardware Acceleration” enabled in your browser settings.
Anyway, thank you so much for the feedback and for playing my game!! :D
