Exactly the kind of zombie game I was craving to play since Survival Crisis Z, Rogue Survivor, and Atom Zombie Smasher (a loooong time ago). With some Lakeview Cabin vibes.

The first day of the zombie breakout is exactly what I wanted to experience. Something I couldn't find in Infection Free Zone, or Project Zomboid. And being confined in a small environment, where we get to know every corner and every characters has some charm too.

I wonder how it will grow !

I still have issue where it stops working : can't find references, or finds the wrong ones. And it works again when reloading the project. (I have just noticed, that is works when saving the file)

However, even not perfect, I don't see how I could work without your plugin now. It is so helpful.

Thank you ! I'll try that new version this weekend.
Is there an option to turn Undo off (for renaming/refactoring) ? I'd rather not have that feature if it is not safe (yet?). When I had my issue, my intent was do undo something not "Refactor" related, but went too far.

Ouch... It messes up with ctrl+Z et ctrl+Y. Twice, it reversed and lost changes I had made to my code, to the last time I had renammed symbols.

Even if I had compiled the code with the changes a few time since.
I am using 1.0.12

Hello ! Wonderful Plugin. However, sometimes it stops working.
I have to reload the project. Is it a known issue ? (Godot 4.7.1)
I don't know what information to provide to help you..

Same issue. Great project !
But tt runs very sssslow on my fairphone4

Hello ! I have discovered your module today from someone who mentionned it on reddit. Nice "Train to Busan" vibes.

How do you play the horde fighting the crowd of Generic Passengers, and spreading the infection ?

From the rules, I imagine that :

- generic passengers behave like the horde, with the stats :

  - Wounds * number of Generic Passengers in the wagon
  - Combat 15
  - Instinct 10
  - Attacks : bash 1d5 wounds (Blunt)

- Each wound taken kills a Generic Passenger (which turns into a zombie)

- In a fight Horde vs Crowd, instead of throwing the combat roll, then the wounds ; throw the number of wounds, then for each wounds throw a combat roll to know if it hits the horde/crowd (if it hits this roll would inflict one wound)

Is it still simple enough, yet exciting ?

I discovered the game here. And was very confused at first on where to start, and how it did work.
Having this README.txt page opened in a tab in the app (the Onmipedia App) would have been very useful !

Oh, I suspect what is going on : playing in a browser forces the game to run at a different resolution than it was made for. Causing weird display bugs

Yeah... I reckon that that it is more a (slow) movie that you control with your movement than a game. But I am still pleased with the result

Thank you !

Appart from the text displayed in the box, we did not add any cryptic meaning in the runes.

However, I have just noticed that the detection to display that text is not big enough... It is easy to miss it.

Nice tiny shoot them up with different patterns for the ennemies. But I have found a spot where I keep shooting and am safe.

It is not ideal to be forced to install the game. Does gamemaker allow any other options ?

That's a nice platformer, with very reactive control !

I have the same issue as Plasmalot. the file PCK is missing. We can't test your game...

The atmosphere is great, and the map fun to explore. I loved that rising sea. The intro with the moon is simple, but great

However I felt that it was easy to be lost and to not know what to do. Actually, I missed a feeling of purpose. A hint at what we are trying to achieve
But, hey, it is tough to add that layer of polish in a game jam.

Excellent work ! Very relaxing (appart for the end message, wich is the purpose).  To be honest, I did not understand everything that was going on.  For example how did the aiming work exactly (between bob moving, and the angle), or the effect of the relics / books. But it looks like there is a lot of content for a 1 week jam.

The background and card shader adds a relaxing and shiny balatro feeling. nice

Thank you ! The windows executable runs much more smoothly

Well. I loved it !

I love the style, atmopshere and escalation. A very classical psychological "horror" game.
Good job !

Is the chair scene the end ? I was not sure (I was stuck on the chair)

Thanks ! You are right about the font... We did not have time to choose one. And used the default 😅

I mean, not the asteroids, but the large flat things

Are they supposed to kill us ? It fells so punishing 😅

I'll play and rate it 👍

The atmosphere I have seen so far is great

Thanks !

The post jam version might be a bit more explicit.

About the slow walk speed  that's the a dilemna we had : I wanted to let every music play before you reach the next one.  Indeed, it creates a slow experience.

Ok. Thank you !

Very well done ! That is one of the most enjoyable game I have played so far.
It lags though. I wish there was a PC export.

Hmm. I reckon. How glitched ? The ground, the sky and the sand dust did not cover the whole screen I guess ?

Also maybe the title and end screen were distorted ?

I'll try to solve that in the post jam version.

Ooh... A node map to travel with (somewhat) random generated content. Tied very well in the story.
It looks simple and neat. The descriptions are fun. We are travelling.

Good job in such a short time !

So far, this is the game which is in the theme in the most interresting way. And that twist to the clicker (where you NEED to keep clicking, fast) is nice, even if it is not a pleasant experience.

The art is great !
However, it is not 1 bit ... Maybe the original assets are. But in the end, with the transparency they are shades of red. I am not sure that it complies to the rules.

But this is a good job ! I'll remember that game.

At first, I was -mee- an asteroid with fixed asteroids, where it is difficult to die. And then, with the upgrades, things quickly escalated and went out of hands ! I did destroy the asteroids long befor they were on screen. 🤣 That was a nice surprise, and I could not wait for an upgrade that would cause the tiny laser shards to become explosive too... That woudl have been fun (added with a camera zoom out) !

The game is simple , but between the tutorial, the game, the upgrades, there are plenty of components. Well done.

Oooh ! That's procedurally generated. It makes it much more interresting. Is it the same seed every game ? Does the explored path remain, or is it erased ?
A yes, deadlines... Decisions have to be made.

As for Memoire Eternelle, I believe that Rature used Inkscape to draw outlines out of photographies. Then he exported them. That's a style he uses a lot in his games. (We were 2 : Rature and me)

And we have too, watching them ;-)

That's impressive and ambitious to create a card game, and for you first game jam !
The art is nice and has a lot of personnality. But the game misses a bit of feedback to really understand the action. (But thats and hell lot of work !) And those damned cards which always are on the way, hiding the foe's info. It looks like you have struggled with that...

I'd love to play more, when (if) there is a more developped version.

Wouha ! It is way more difficult than I expected to vision space, when that's the moving parts whose the static is -static-. I got completely lost. 😂

That was an interresting, yet very confusing experience !

Nice screenshots 😉

I love the outline of the running animation and the liquid fuel level in the rocket. Those 2 types of game play looks promising.

But... Is it on purpose that the rocket collides with the clouds ? I could not reach any platformer level (appart from the beginning).

I'd love to see more though.

That's interresting, and there are a lot of moving parts well tied together. Congratulations !
But I was a bit confused about what was going on :  when the wheel stops spinning, there are too many things happening at the same time. After a few plays, I sort of understand what is going on, but I would need to play much more to fully understand.

I have had the same thought. Your game screen is good enough. For many, AI art (when it is this obvious) is more repulsive than attractive.
But I reckon, I clicked this game because I was curious how thie AI art would translate in the game.

I loved that claustrophobic atmosphere. That's interresting how the dithering changes everything, and makes you fell even more lost ! On my first play though, I had no clue what I could see... I thought that it was a weird sphere... But once i got used to it it was clear.

The few piano notes are great ! It gets a bit repetitive, though.

I wonder, is there and end ? Or... There is no end. Just getting lost ? If so, is it generated ?

Oh ! Nice level generation. And I love the sprite of the enemies walking in weird positions, and moving at the sound rythm.

I like those pop ups ! I wish I had more time to read them LOL.
Actually I also wished that a story would emerge from the pop ups !

Nice "pop" animation ;-)

Interresting take at writing a module in the "unconfirmed contact report" elliptical style.

It  leaves a lot of work for the warden to fill the gaps. But the story has the kind of atmosphere I was looking when going into Mothership.

It took me a while, but I like it. I'd love to read more modules in that style.

Now, I have to go listen to that song, and discover what is this ground control stuff about. I hope that I'll stay safe !
