Okay, so it’s a game whose scope was definitely too large for a jam. But I can see the effort you put in, and I have to say that the result, even if “rough,” is definitely good, especially considering the 20 hours it took (I liked the water effect on the edge)! A good result for the first time with 3D!

While it's not a finished game, there's a lot to appreciate here.  The lighting looks pretty good and the water shader works really well.  This definitely feels like a good starting point for a bigger project!

Good idea for the game! I hope you continue and finish it after the jam. That happens to all of us when we’re working on something new, haha. Good luck!

While this game is unfinished, you have now some valuable experience for the next one :) And overall feel of the game is nice and smooth!

This one feels more like a small prototype, but I can definitely see the bigger idea!

The planet + 3D character looks pretty nice, and the idea of eventually progressing through different planets and fighting bosses could become a really cool survival game. 🪐

Right now though, it feels very empty and lonely, with not much happening around the player. If you continue it, I’d focus on filling the environment with things to discover resources, creatures, hazards, structures, and more interaction with the planet. That would make the survival aspect feel much stronger.

Also, honestly, scope control is a huge part of game jams, so it sounds like you already learned a valuable lesson from this one. 😄

Still, good job getting something playable submitted, especially with this being your first time working in 3D! 🎉

Good luck with the jam! And if you have some time, please play my game too and leave me a review  I’d really appreciate it! ❤️

It looks like a bit of scope creep snuck in :D

Nice visual with the planet and the character, but there’s not much actual gameplay. Maybe something a little simpler next time? Either way, great job shipping the game! It's definitely not an easy task.

Thanks I really appreciate the kind words. Scope creep definitely kicked in, I learned from my mistake and for my next jam I already finished all the core mechanics in less than a day
