Loved the idea, but I am bad at music game, and it was the same for this one. I just don't seem to understand properly how to reproduce the music. But I wanted to comment anyways because I love the visual and vibe !
awesome creative idea, would love to see what you'd make of it given more time because it has a lot of potential! i think this attempt fell a little short for me, the audio cutting every time you mess with the sliders and buttons ended up making pretty difficult :(
the art is pretty and i loved the idea so muchh
it is challenging and takes a while to get how it works but doing that with only 3 days is AMAZING, one of my favs takes into the theme (also missed some click sounds for the buttons and ui)
Yeah i wish had given up on my initial idea ealier so I could've given this idea more love, but if I return it to it more sfx will definitely be a priority.
It´s a pretty creative idea for the layers theme to do a game about Dj mixing.
And for sure, the effort you spent on the art is appreciated.
For the music, i would recommend you to be careful when writing a melody, try to make it more cohesive, try to repeat motifs, not to use notes too far from the other too often (on a melody), to have a stablished rhythm, to avoid the kind of stuff that makes a melody to lose it´s musical sense, but the harmony, kicks and hi-hats were nice.

This is such a creative take on the theme!! I did find it quite challenging tho ahah, but I had fun :) Also, super impressive you did everything yourself!!!
This is a really cool game. Im bad at music so i didnt get too far but it was very easy to understand. 10/10

The idea is super cool! Would be nice to lower the barrier to entry a bit, maybe to add some tutorial. Or maybe it’s just me, ahaha :)
Haha I def would've spent more time on figuring out how to make it user friendly if I had made it in more than 3 days.... unfortunately my husband was the only playtester and he got the tutorial straight from the source. I think I'll probably try and revamp it when the jam is over, so stay tuned for that!
I love the concept! I don't have the ear for it, so it turned out pretty tough. But I can see the vision.
I think an easy way to give it a bit more juice would've been to add sounds to the controls. So it clicks or something when you change a setting.

dang I really didn't realize I was making a super hard game when I made it lol. I guess i've spent way too much time listening to the same music on repeat
