How does your game fit the Theme?
STARGAZING: Star Seeker turns stargazing into the core gameplay mechanic. The player takes control of a plane and explores the night sky to locate hidden stars. After discovering all the stars, the player connects them to reveal a constellation pattern and then identifies which constellation they have discovered.
Instead of using stars only as background decoration, the game requires the player to actively search, observe, connect, and recognize patterns in the night sky.
The game is built around the idea of looking up at the stars and discovering something hidden within them.

STARGAZING: Star Seeker was built as a small, focused experience around the theme of stargazing. I wanted the stars to be more than visual decoration, so I made them the central puzzle mechanic.
The player first explores the night sky by plane, searching for hidden stars. Once all the stars have been discovered, the player connects them to reconstruct the constellation and then identifies the pattern.
I focused on keeping the controls simple and the gameplay easy to understand while creating an atmospheric low-poly night-sky experience.
Fly → Discover → Trace → Identify.
Thank you for playing, and I hope you enjoy searching the sky!

This is a beautiful game! I love it!
Thank you so much, kitkatt01! ❤️ I'm really happy you loved the game! 🌌✈️ It really means a lot to me. Thank you for playing! 🙏✨
Cool game! It was nice and short but I really liked the controls flying the plane and the low poly scenery. Flying towards the stars, then forming a constellation and determining which constellation matches it fits the theme well. I even replayed three times to see if the game would randomize the constellation and it does which I liked, overall good game!
Thank you so much, Xdroid101! ❤️ I'm really happy and grateful that you took the time to play my game and leave such a detailed review! It means a lot to me that you enjoyed the plane controls, flying, and low-poly scenery. ✈️🌌
I'm also really glad you noticed that the constellation is randomized! 😄 It's awesome that you even replayed the game three times to check it out!
Thank you for the kind words and for recognizing how the flying, star discovery, and constellation puzzle connect to the theme. ⭐✨
Thank you again for playing and for the wonderful feedback! ❤️
Good luck with your future games and jams! 🎮🌟
Loved the games!! love you explained everything about the game!! ui was nice i just find the controlling of the plane a bit hard probably just my issue, but over all i loved the game!!!
but i think maybe player should at get 2/3 tries before he has to select which constellation they think it is.
Thank you so much, Suhavi! ❤️ I'm really happy and grateful that you took the time to play my game and leave such a kind review! It means a lot to me, especially knowing that you enjoyed the UI and the way I explained the game. 🌌✈️
And don't worry about the plane controls 😄 they can definitely take some time to get used to! I really appreciate your suggestion about giving players 2–3 tries when choosing the constellation. That's a great idea and would make the puzzle more forgiving for players.
Thank you again for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! ❤️ Your feedback really helps me improve the game.
Good luck with your future games and jams! 🎮🌟
Great game my dude. This game is really good. I like the UI and how you explain things. The plane was really easy to control and the plòane moved really well. The star mecchanic is also really good. If I ahve something to advise, the plane was totally white. It would be cool if you added different plane texstures and coloration. Really well sumbmission, I hope this game will recive an update to be more cool.
Thank you so much, PAX! ❤️ I'm really happy you enjoyed the UI, explanations, plane controls, and especially the star mechanic! 🌌✈️
Actually, my plan was to add more plane models, colors, and variations, but the time duration of the jam was quite short, so I wasn't able to add everything I had planned. 😄 Since this was a game jam, I had to focus on getting the main gameplay and the STARGAZING theme working within the limited time.
I really appreciate your suggestion, and if I continue developing the game, I'd definitely love to add more plane variations!
Thank you again for playing and for the great feedback! ❤️🎮
It looks amazing! A lot of things in the way you use audio and UI really remind me of some old games I used to play when I was a child. The flying part was very cool but it was short. I was very confused about the puzzle that felt like a completely different game and it completely broke the flow of the game for me, especially since the game restarts and we have to go through all the transitions to do the flying part again. If that was my game I would lean more into the flying part, expand it with new mechanics and make it fit more the theme (show actual stars instead of big dots, drawing the actual constellations in the 3D world and maybe some space-themed obstacles like asteroids, planets, black holes instead of these rock-like structures).
Also the title and description feel very AI generated. Maybe I'm wrong but it really gives me this feeling. It's fine and it's allowed but the tone is very robotic and lacks personality. A description that might be short, flawed, simple or complex, if you write it yourself and use your own words, it will remind us that there is a human being behind the game. Everything feels more rewarding if we know there is intention behind each choice, each mechanic and each word. That's probably the thing I want to draw your attention the most, more than anything in the actual game.
Thank you so much, Florian, for taking the time to play my game and write such a detailed and thoughtful review! ❤️ I really appreciate all the feedback, especially your ideas about expanding the flying section and making the star/space elements more connected to the theme. 🌌✈️
I also really appreciate your honesty about the title and description. Just to clarify, the game itself was not AI created. Every menu, UI element, and the game itself was created by me in Unity during the jam. I understand why the writing may give you that impression, though.
For the title and description, I actually use a similar style across my games because I want my projects to have a consistent and recognizable identity. If you look at my other games, you'll notice that I follow this same approach because I want my games to feel unique and connected by my own style.
Your point about making the writing feel more personal is something I'll definitely think about for future games. ❤️
Thank you again for your time, honesty, and detailed feedback. It really helps me improve!
Good luck with your future games and jams! 🎮🌟
The art really reminds me of Superflight. The controls are smooth and it feels nice to play
Thank you so much, AGamer20! ❤️ I'm really glad you enjoyed the art style, smooth controls, and overall feel of the game! ✈️🌌
And being reminded of Superflight is a really nice compliment! 😄
Thank you for playing and for the feedback! 🎮🌟
This game is so pretty! We love the color scheme and the polished vibe and feel. The controls are super satisfying (W & S seemed to be flipped, so it took a while getting used to, though -- maybe it's the norm in plane-flying games idk). The sound effects & music are both pretty immersive, and we both played this game for a long time! If you do want to continue this game, we will both play more levels 100%! It could be fun to have different maps and areas to explore!
Thank you so much, Mudpond Games! ❤️ I'm really happy that you both enjoyed the game, especially the color scheme, polished feel, controls, music, and sound effects! It means a lot that you played for so long and would like to see more levels. 🌌✈️
The map was actually made specifically for this game jam, so I kept it fairly small due to the time limit. 😄 But if the game gets more interest, I would be really happy to create new maps, areas, and more levels for it!
Thank you again for playing and for the wonderful feedback! ❤️
Good luck with your future games and jams! 🎮🌟
I have mixed feelings about this game.
The low-poly environment, controls, and movement are truly excellent. Good work!
But the 2 parts “catch the spheres” and “guess the constellations” seem like two separate games that don’t fit together well.
Another thing that’s a bit confusing is the “start level” menu: there’s no indication that you’re progressing through the game… it feels like the game has only 1 level and there was a reset. You can see the “progress” only after the start, because the number of spheres to collect increases. Lastly, the color scheme is a bit “psychedelic” (not bad, but I’m not a fan of gradients made by contrast colors) and the white color of the plane wasn’t a good one: I understand that contrast was needed, but I would have used white only for the highlight parts; sometimes it looks like it’s a single block.
Anyway, I’m impressed: it’s the first time I’ve piloted a plane with a keyboard, and I don’t feel completely inept!
Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and leave such a detailed and honest review! ❤️ I really appreciate it.
I'm especially happy that you enjoyed the low-poly environment, controls, and plane movement! ✈️🌌 And haha, I'm glad the game made you feel like a capable pilot! 😄
I completely understand your point about the star collecting and constellation guessing feeling like two separate parts. I wanted the exploration to lead into the constellation puzzle, but I can see that the connection could have been stronger.
Your feedback about the level progression, start screen, color palette, and plane design is also really helpful. I'll definitely keep these points in mind for future improvements.
Thank you again for playing and for the valuable feedback! ❤️
Good luck with your future games and jams! 🎮🌟
This game is amazing!! I loved the art, music and the general polish of this game!!The indicator of the stars is too low at the lower right side but that is barely a inconvenience! I think the start and transition screens confused a bit that the game restarted! This game reminded me a lot of Star Wars: Squadrons in terms of navigation in the stars and I felt this was much better! Lol!
Thank you so much, PGad! ❤️ I'm really happy and grateful that you took the time to play STARGAZING: Star Seeker and leave such a kind and detailed review! It really means a lot to me. 🌌✈️
I'm especially glad you enjoyed the art, music, and overall polish of the game! And haha, being compared to Star Wars: Squadrons is honestly an amazing compliment! 😂🚀 I'm really happy you enjoyed flying through the stars.
Thank you as well for pointing out the star indicator being too low and the confusion around the start and transition screens. I've received similar feedback from a few players, so it's really helpful to know that this is something I should improve and make clearer.
Thank you again for playing, for the amazing feedback, and for the kind words! ❤️ It really motivates me to keep improving and making more games.
Good luck with your future games and jams, and keep creating! 🎮🌟
Interesting game with a really distinct art style!
Gameplay: The idea is fun, but there are some design decisions that seem a bit off. For example- when I discovered the first constellation it looked like I thought that was it. The screen doesn't indicate that I'm gonna be searching for another one now. I was about to turn off the game and start my review with "really short game" :) It's a pretty chill experience.
Audio + graphics: The graphics have a really distinct style, and the text animations look really well (not often I compliment text animations, but here we are). Not much happening with the audio, but the music fits the chill atmosphere really well.
Theme: I'll be honest here. It feels like you really wanted for the theme to be "roadtrip" and had a cool idea about a game with a plane. The star part feels a bit "glued on". I mean... I get it. I had a really cool idea for "roadtrip" :)
Over all. The elements that work, work well. Other parts need some polish.
Also- one more thing. I'd loose the AI- looking thumbnail. Your game looks stylish as it is, so use a screenshot instead.
Thank you so much, kkcn! ❤️ I really appreciate you taking the time to play my game and write such a detailed review. It genuinely means a lot to me, especially the feedback about the art style and text animations! I'm really happy that the graphics stood out to you and that the music helped create the chill atmosphere I was going for. 🌌🎵
Your feedback about the progression is really helpful. I can definitely see how, after finding the first constellation, it could feel like the game was finished if there isn't a clear indication that you're moving on to another one. That's something I should have communicated much better to the player.
And thank you for being honest about the theme! 😄 I understand why the stars might have felt somewhat disconnected from the plane concept. My intention was to make stargazing itself part of the gameplay, with the player flying around to discover stars and then connecting them into constellations, but I can definitely see how the connection could have been made stronger and clearer.
Also, thank you for the thumbnail suggestion! That's actually really useful feedback. I'll definitely consider using an actual in-game screenshot instead and letting the game's own visual style speak for itself.
Thank you again for playing, for the kind words, and especially for the constructive feedback. This is exactly the kind of feedback that helps me understand what I can improve in future games. ❤️
Good luck with your future games and jams, and keep creating! 🎮🌟
Hi! The game is cool! I really liked the color palette, and the music was good too. I think it could be even better if each star had its own color or something similar.
Also, while I was playing, whenever I found a pattern in the stars, I was sent back to the beginning of the game, like the menu. I don’t know if that’s a bug or if it was designed that way.
But overall, the game is really good! Great job!
Thank you so much, Rafik! ❤️ I'm really happy and grateful that you took the time to play my game and leave such detailed feedback. It means a lot to me! I'm especially glad you enjoyed the color palette and music. 🌌🎵
I really like your idea about giving each star its own color that's a great suggestion and could make the stars and constellation patterns even more interesting and easier to recognize. ⭐✨
And yes, finding the pattern is actually the main objective of the level! 😄 Once you successfully find and complete the constellation pattern, you're supposed to move on to the next level. So that part is intentional, although I can understand how returning to what looks like the beginning/menu could be confusing. I'll definitely consider making the transition to the next level clearer.
Thank you again for playing and for sharing your feedback! ❤️ I really appreciate it.
Good luck with your future games and jams, and keep creating! 🎮🌟
No problem, and thank you too , we will keep creating ✍️
I love the color palette you used. The animation and smooth movement of the airplane feel really nice. At the beginning, I didn’t know where to fly until I saw the spheres in space. I wasn’t sure if they were dangerous objects or collectibles.
Thank you so much, Juandeyby! ❤️ I'm really happy and grateful that you took the time to play my game and leave such a thoughtful review. It means a lot to me as an indie developer, and I'm really glad you enjoyed the color palette, airplane animation, and smooth movement! ✈️🌌
About the beginning, I understand what you mean! 😄 I actually added instructions at the start of the game explaining what to do and how to find the stars, so it looks like you may have missed them. I tried to provide the details before the gameplay begins, but your feedback is still really helpful because it shows me that I could make the objective even clearer for players.
Thank you again for playing and sharing your feedback! I truly appreciate it. ❤️
Good luck with your future games and jams, and keep creating! 🎮✨
