A strong contender for the best content in this jam. A whole mediterranean campaign in a few pages. I beg you Christopher Nolan, play this game.

I beg you to expand upon this or make more, this is a perfect combination of Cairn in a Bronze Age setting for me. The locations descriptions are short but very evocative; I'd love to see what you'd do with them if you weren't so constricted for space. It's all so good!
Thank you! 🙌 About expanding... Already working on it.
Oh, I love the overall vibe! The original artwork is whimsical in the best sense of the word. Very clean layout too. I can see a lot of thought went into how to present the information in a usable way. I want to run this module.
Thanks! 🙌
Incredible use of space! Using negative space for the land in the map blew my mind. Beyond impressed you fit an entire long form campaign in here. Because I liked it so much, most of my critical feedback is a bit nitpicking.
There were some minor copy edit issues, such as inconsistency between D vs d for dice notation, some awkward spacing due to using justified alignment. Idk who shared the tip, but those lines are a perfect opportunity to add a small, evocative word or to consider whether the next word can be expressed in a more succinct way.
Rather than saying XdY encountered for each one, you could state in the encounters section that “The number encountered is noted in parens, such as Centaurs (2d4). Would give some room to flesh out the bandit/pirate groups or the harpy motivations.
A final suggestion, particularly for if you do an expanded version. What does the journey back to Tyros look like? Maybe an additional set of artifact hunters, agents of divine, or political rivals who seek to stop you?
Thanks for the feedback 🙌 I had a lot of fun working on the map and thinking through how to "hide" the Mediterranean.
Quick note while reading:
Wow, it took me so long to recognize a version of the Mediterranian. And there’s a boot right there.
Love the mix of mythology and the story. This could be months of play.
Well, now we have to know: What will your players name?!?
And thanks for the kind words! 🙌
Tha hand of the princess daughter, of course :-D
Of course. Let us know how that works out with the Queen Mother...
Cannot think of any complications there.
This is the most "Cairn" Cairn module I have every read, in the best possible way! Great layout and writing too.
I am humbled by the Cairn praise. Very greatly appreciated.
Big Greek energy. Love this, the layout is near perfection that allows the eye to follow flawlessly. So many good ideas flowing from the pages, I'd love to see this expanded AND it makes me want to play more! Excellent job!
Thank you! 🙌 More to come!
This rules. Strong Odyssey energy. Makes me want to run some sort of sword and sandal overland adventure. Although it works great as a 4-pager, I think this one is really fertile ground for some additional detailed dungeons.
Thanks! I have a whole bunch of ideas to spin off or expand from this. 🙌 One person commented on the game page that I should name this "Into the Oddessey". Brilliant!
This is awesome, and it’s really cool to see an entry set in the real world (or close enough to it). The broad scope of the adventure really helps nail the epic tone, and in general it just seems really fun to play through.
I particularly liked the descriptions of the gods; in only a little space you got across everything a GM would need to roleplay them, and the quotes in particular were helpful.
If I had one suggestion it’d be to increase the font size so it’s easier to read, but I can see why you needed the extra space for how much you squeezed in.
Thanks! 🙌 About the font... you are correct: it was the best size I could achieve and still fit in all the content I needed. There are a bunch of ideas that didn't make the cut because of space and size.
An elegant take on the mythology from the Mediterranean Sea, with a very good layout. I love those legendary artifacts.
Thanks! All the artifacts are based on an actually story or "magic item" from Greek mythology. *That* was some fun research to do!
This is so excellent. Really enjoyable read and, as others have said, I love the combination of the art and choices in layout.
Thank you! This was incredibly fun to create. I have a whole bunch of ideas spinning off of this adventure.
Yea, I bet! Do you think you'll expand it as a setting? I could absolutely tell you had more to say. Btw, did we play in Kraken Corpse Delve together at Between Two Cons? Your name seemed super familiar. Cheers!
If Joe Lewis was the warden, yes we did. 🤘
Great use of negative space on the map and positively cute spot art. Good capture of the current Odyssey hype. It feels appropriately heroic!
Dude really fit a whole campaign in here, damn. This is really, really good. If I wasn't playing a big campaign right now, I would drop whatever I was doing and run this.
Drop whatever you're doing and run this.
Lol
Who wouldn't love a great setting inspired by the myths of ancient Greece? It makes me want to create a few character backgrounds to fit the theme. A great foundation for lots of adventures.
While I'm at it, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you've contributed to Cairn as a system.
Great work, as always!
Thank you!
Question: looking at the spreads you have exported, are these pages in the correct place, because if I print this as is in the file at this time, I have a booklet that opens in reverse, like a manga. Is this intentional, are the pages in the wrong order, or should the cover be on the right hand side of a spread? I am unsure as to which page comes in what order now?
The pages are in the correct order in the PDF. The PDF is not intended to be printed like a booklet.
NOTED! Good to know, was not sure, thanks for the heads up!
Nonetheless, it is dope!
This is so awesome, I really want to run this for myself to see how everyone takes it. I am really impressed by how good and simple the art is.
Thanks! I was trying something a little different with the art.
Looks awesome, seafaring adventures always have a certain draw to them!
