I really liked the low-poly environment! There are a few bugs during interactions, but overall, it’s still a really nice experience. Nice job!

I find the stick in the gears on the gate. Tried pressing E, but it does not do anything. The gate is the orange and white bar, right?
The visuals, interactions, colour palette and the overall concept works.
I was looking to relation with the theme "stargazing" and found it at the end. I know had limited time, but a movie about stargazing would've been nice. I like to think this as a meta game where the narrative is abstract and it could've been a bit deeper if there was some insight into the boring life of the character before they go out to open their business.
Overall a good game.
YOOO, BIG RESPECT FOR THIS ONE!🎬🌌
First off, 22 hours, solo, and building such a huge 3D environment in Unreal is honestly impressive. The drive-in setting feels like you put a lot of effort into making the world feel like an actual place, and the music fits the atmosphere really nicely. 👏
I really like the idea behind the story too looking back at a place you spent years building and realizing the memories were more important than the work itself. That has a lot of potential emotionally. ❤️
I think the biggest thing to improve is making that idea more present through the gameplay. Right now, you're mostly completing tasks, so adding more character interactions, small memories, or moments where the player actually stops and looks at the stars could make the theme hit much harder. ⭐
Still, great effort, especially for a solo jam project with such a large 3D world and all those mechanisms.
🎉 Congratulations on the jam submission and keep going!
And if you have some free time, please play my game too and leave me a review! 🙏❤️ I'd really appreciate your feedback.
GG! 🌠
I like narrative games that go for a certain mood. I think yours has a good concept, and a lot of potential, but it also needs some work.
Mainly I didn't feel the "slowing down" part. I was just doing chores before opening the business. I think you could have more dialogue, or better yet- a second character, to flesh out the story more. Since the theme is "stargazing" it could be a more important part of the plot too. Now that I think of it, you could even leave the gameplay the same. The second character would be the one who slows down, and finds time to look at the stars, while you do the busywork :)
It’s a very fun game, despite a few bugs (I placed the ladder in the wrong spot and couldn’t get back down =D ).
Yeah, it was funny seeing them fly around, haha! Ahh, okay, I’ll try to continue the game later and see if I can find the next door.
I mean, the gameplay and the idea are good, but I didn’t really see the connection with the theme. In the story, I also didn’t really feel the idea of “don’t live alone, be with people” because I was mostly just completing tasks.
That said, the art and the game were good overall! I think it could be improved by adding more things that actually show the main idea of the theme — for example, interactions or moments where being with other people is important to progressing or solving problems.
