Big Boss Benny is no normal fella!

Awesome job with this. I enjoyed all the level twists, and the SFX + details in the animations really added to the game. Gonna have to try out that Universal Transition Shader, it looks quite nice!

One thing that caught me initially was the "jumbled" levels. For the longest time my brain was convinced I had to unjumble the word. Once I realized you needed to type the displayed jumble verbatim it was all good though haha.

Super fun + cute game, congrats :)

LOVE THIS GAME! The random challenges are so fun! It would be nice to be able to buy the upgrades with the keyboard so I don't have to use my mouse at all.

Thanks for the feedback!
Agggh it was on the list of things to do! I forgot about it on the last day!

This was really fun. Very impressed with the different ways you need to type, though I found the jumbled letter particularly brutal. I felt like I typed a word with the letters but it wasn’t recognized. Maybe it wasn’t the correct word? I was a little confused why I couldn’t close the shop after opening, but since clicking space bar till progressed that was easy enough to figure out. Really nice work over all!

Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated! I'd noticed that typing bug a few times but couldn't pinpoint/ran out of time on how to fix it. It's something to do with typing too fast/errors not clearing quick enough from the text input box, i think.

I really liked this game, typing comes easy to me so making it into a game that I actually want to play (I'm looking at you NitroType) was a great experience

Developer

Cheers, i'm glad to hear you enjoyed it!

I have bested Benny. Art is great, but the sound effects are really what does it for me. Typing in a letter just feels good. Eventually became fabulously wealthy and word length aside some of the later levels felt a bit same-y, but I had a good time.

I was excited to get "lasagne." Cause you know, cats.

Developer

Play testing wise, i didn't get a big opportunity to do a lot of it towards the end, so it does end up feeling a bit samey with practically no balance to the difficulty/rewards at all.

Still, it was interesting to work on and I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the great feedback.

Absolutely amazing. Great gimmicks, the game kept surprising me at every other stage. The presentation is literally what I aspire to be able to make some day. No notes, amazing job, like I expected, this deserves to win for sure!

Developer

That's incredibly kind of you to say, Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Incredible Game, Big fan of typing games every now and then and this hit the spot. The story mode was super cool with all of the weird gimmicks some of those hidden vowel words are tough. I then tried an endless run and got 1323. The only things I didn't like were, there shouldve been a sound for buying an upgrade from the shop and in the endless mode Difficulty 5 is easier than Difficulty 4, my guess is because diff 4 is only hard words whereas diff 5 is all words so you end up getting a lot of short words. Overall an incredible job, visuals, audio, gameplay, gamefeel, stunning.

Thanks for the kind feedback!

Yeah, in regards to the levels in Endless mode, i'm not really sure why i did that. It was almost in the 11th hour that i made the change, and i even questioned it as i was doing it... but left it in anyway.

Thanks for trying it out and the kind words. Glad you enjoyed it
