This game is so precious, from the words to the title to the artwork and even the "bonus achievement" for those of us who love them. 🧡 I also LOVE the way you convince the detective that you're innocent by sharing a memory and bringing everyone to tears. Plus, the concept of being on a cooking show AND having a saboteur there is hilarious 😅
Finally, I really like that this is a cooking game where you don't list ingredients. You describe the dish. It reminds me of when, say, Chopped or whatever cooking show has everyone make the dishes and then present them, trying to sell the judges on why they should enjoy the dish. I do enjoy games that give you ingredients (we've made one, and there are other awesome ones in this jam) but your focus was clever :D

Thank you! The detective will listen well to an emotional story! If it’s true or not only the competitor will know, but the detective will always believe them 🙂↕️
I more or less based it on Mario Party, and it is already chaotic with friends, but there is still bowser to turn things even more a mess 😂😂
Yeah, I really like games with ingredients! But at the time I was developing it I was really sleepy to come up with recipes 😂😂 so I got the idea of this alternative, and it was nice I could still work with the ingredients somehow!
The concept of this game is really entertaining! I love the dual challenges of trying to make the recipes while the Detective hovers around investigating. The rules were not super clear (how many rounds? what is the condition that ends the game?) but for a 72 hour game, this is a great base to build on! Also, the illustrations make me smile, they're super cute!
Yeahh, I check it again and it’s really not clear, so I will rewrite it later! It should end when one player finish to cook their recipe! (they will get the ‘ending’ they finish their recipe, and if there is another player they will get the other ending they didn’t finish it if that’s the case)
Thank you! My agenda to spread cute ttrpgs seems to be working! ✨✨
This is a very cute game with some interesting ideas, I really like all the extra achievements to make the win/lose conditions a bit more interesting. I'm not sure if I'm not seeing it, but I don't know how many rounds the game is supposed to last, or does it just go until one player successfully cooks a recipe? It needs development but you have a solid start.
Thank you! As for now, it should go until one player finish to cook their recipe! The ‘endings’ section is where I wrote about the winning conditions (if there is two players, one get the ending they finish their recipe and the other get the ending they didn’t finish it), but looking at it again I will need to rewrite it, it’s not very clear!
Any game that reminds me of Iron Chef or Food Wars is always a win for me. 😁
I like how the detective is the coin you must flip. It gives a very “troped” vibe to it and I loved it!
The only issue I ran into was trying to determine what the order of the game was in. The game was fun, but I had to number the panels myself so I would not get lost.
I didn’t finish to watch Food Wars but what I saw was really nice! I love things related to cooking, so working with this prompt was really fun ✨✨
Ohh, I really thank you for not giving up even with the problem! I will add later a pdf with the order of the two formats! (And add to my other projects too, I use a lot of this layout!) Thank you very much for sharing ✨ And also for commenting!
This is really cute. I saw on your page that your inspiration was “Mario Party (A game I love and hate <3)”. I am SOOOOO with you on that!
This is interesting and clever! It has me pondering different interactions that could make it a bit more Mario Partyesque… I have a question about this section here:
It is noted in the sell it bullet point that you put the card back. Do you keep the card if it is your ingredient, or does that get put back too? If the card is kept, this could be a potential point where you could add a sabotage mode.
If the reveal of a card is kept secret from the other player than keeping an ingredient that is your opponents wouldn’t gain you an ingredient or a coin, but would sabotage their progress finding their ingredients. So come win/lose time this could be a press-your-luck kind of consequence. If you got all your ingredients first but tally up all your (and their) “sabotage” (cards you secretly kept that were not yours) cards and they have less than you, then you’re caught as the sabotour and get disqualified from the competition.
Of course, you may already have ideas of your own. Just sharing the thoughts that came to me during my read through. Well done on your entry, and for making lovely art for it too.

Mario Party is one of the first games I played so it’s very dear to me (although it can be pretty insufferable at times 😂😂😂), so at some point I really want to try to make a board game ✨✨ (when I learn more and less scared of big projects lol) For now this one is very loosely based on a minigame I like (although it doesn’t have any cooking or anything 🤣🤣)
The idea was to keep the card if it was one of your ingredient, I think I somehow forgot to make it clear! Ohh, reading your thoughts got me thinking of some way to implement this sabotage mode! Thank you for sharing ✨✨ Also for commenting!
The art for this game is just irresistible, you're so talented :) And the game is also fun , it has such a lovely slow and steady atmosphere that really encourages you to think about what food means to you.
Thank you! I’m happy you liked the art and have fun! I thought about using actual recipes at first (that is also a good idea!), but then the thought of having to take account your senses when dealing with food seemed really interesting so I had to try it ✨✨
I don't know if the 13 spots are supposed to be in a row or a grid. I assume a row. It is very light on role playing. I do wish there was a way to interact with the other player. And everyone is being sabotaged. How? *Shrug*. I can't be a saboteur. I think it would be fun it would be fun to be able to steal from the other player at the risk of being caught by them and or the detective. There are really cool and interesting ideas here and I wish you had more than 72 hours. I like the game and see a lot of potential for growth. ps. I do love achievements. :)
Ohh, it seems I forgot to clarify this part lol it was supposed to be a grid where you would start wherever you want, but if using it in a row worked, that’s also fine!
Yeah, when I manage to take a look at it again, I would try to solve this saboteur mode. I wanted to include it in more detail but I was very sleepy at the time so I focused on working on the recipes at least. Yey, achievements are so nice!! 🙌🙌
