The idea is good I think you can put a little more polish after the jam ends and it can work as a standalone little experience on your itch page :D Good job

A really cool game, I like that you can use the platform like a slingshot to launch yourself upwards.

The main art is pretty good! I think there should've been more consistency with the falling blocks tho. The physics are a little wonky and the player movement doesn't feel great, some more sound effects would've been really helpful. But it's a nice idea, I think it could work great as a mobile game, with some polishing to the physics of course and some collectables to keep players motivated. If you haven't already, I hope you can give my game a try and leave a rating! Some devices ran into a problem progressing past the dialogue so there's a skip button that takes you straight into gameplay if that's the case! /jam/bezi-jam-13/rate/4935244

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I already rated your game, I just didn't comment

Love the art style and atmosphere! Here’s my Quick Playtest.

I really like how simple the core idea is — keep yourself and the platform balanced while more and more stuff gets thrown at you. It’s one of those mechanics that you understand almost immediately, and I think the physical balancing is a fun interpretation of Tipping Point.

My biggest suggestion would probably be to ramp up the danger a little faster. Early on I felt pretty safe, especially with the ability to jump/double jump and correct myself. I’d love to see the objects start affecting the balance more aggressively as the score increases, or have different objects force you to change how you’re playing.

I also think a little more feedback when the platform is getting dangerously close to tipping — sound, screen shake, UI, etc. — could make those “oh crap” moments hit even harder.

Overall, really fun little concept, and I could absolutely see this becoming one of those “one more run, I can beat my score” games. Nice job!

Dude, thank you so much for this!! I genuinely wasn't expecting someone to make a whole video about my game, this made my day

And thank you for the detailed feedback! I completely agree about the difficulty and lack of feedback around the tipping point. I was actually pretty scared of making it too difficult because of problems I had with difficulty in my previous jams, so I definitely played it a little too safe this time.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the core idea though, and I really appreciate you taking the time to play it, record it, and make a video. Seriously, thank you!

Nice and simple premise but works quite well. I think having more interaction with the objects earlier (before the later objects which slide you off) would feel nice. The early portion feels a little too much like people are just throwing ball pit balls at you that don't do much. After a bit it becomes more engaging though and I think just tuning that a little would get it to a great spot.

Super cute character and background art. Loved the relaxing music selection, great job!

I love the simplicity of the theme implementation. Some sound effects and maybe more UI feedback would have elevated the game even further.

Developer

I completely agree. I wish I had just a little more time to polish it

Too easy. If I were you, I'd remove the double jump—or the jump altogether.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I was scared to make the game harder because my previous entries had difficulty issues. Thanks for checking it out!

I think if the theme was instability, this game would have been great, because I didn't find any connection to the tipping point.

But I reached 11,500 and lost. ._.

Developer

Yeah, that's fair! I was going for the idea that you're constantly approaching the tipping point of the platform, but I can definitely see how that isn't communicated very clearly. Glad you had fun with it though, 11,500 is a pretty good score
