yes

How did you incorporate the theme "UNSTABLE"?
ONE REACTOR is about operating a power plant at the edge of stability. Every attempt to push more electricity through the plant puts greater pressure on its interconnected systems — reactor output, cooling, turbines and other bottlenecks. Push one part too far and the limiting system shifts, temperatures rise, output collapses, or the plant shuts itself down. The entire game is about finding how far you can push an unstable machine without losing control.

Great take on the theme! The tutorial does a great job of making sense of what's on screen. The art is perfect for the game. Awesome job!

its a well crafted visually and audio wise game and nice job.

rate and review my game save the apple

I liked it. Took me about 16 minutes to power the entire world without overclocking :)

Pretty fire! Quite cohesive. The visuals and music are very well polished. The gameplay is not to my taste but I see no pure flaws. Goodjob! Great entry

Really loved the art style and the audio, they both stand out so much. The music and the whole look kinda pulled me in on their own and I kept playing mostly because of that vibe. The gameplay felt a bit less exciting compared to the visuals and sound, but the idea behind it is very cool and you can feel the potential there. Super nice work on the presentation. (pls play my game)

I really loved the art style and I really loved the audio. I almost played just for the music and the look of the thing. Well done on those aspects. The gameplay felt a little less fun than the audio and art but I gave it a good go. Very cool idea and concept.

appreciate that a lot, the art and sound were honestly two things i really wanted to get right so i put a lot of focus into both of them. really nice to hear that actually came through

Really fun game!! I really enjoyed the speed of the game with the great tutorial at the beginning - it helped me figure out quickly what controls to monitor and from there, the speed at which things change gave me enough time to explore what else there was on my own. Loved the overall vibe of the art style/music/sfx - agree with UtaSzane, I got too addicted (:

DeveloperSubmitted(+1)

really good to hear the pacing worked, i spent quite a bit of time trying to make the tutorial explain enough without dumping everything on the player at once. also put a lot of focus into the visuals, music and sounds so i'm glad those stood out

I got too addicted too fast while playing this game LOL. Great game!

DeveloperSubmitted(+1)

that's probably the best problem the game can have. i wanted it to have that "i'll just fix one more thing" feeling and then suddenly you've been playing way longer than planned

Art looks great and I love my incremental games so this will be something in the list I pick up when I'm bored. Great game you got.

DeveloperSubmitted

yeah incremental games were a pretty big influence on how i built the progression. wanted the upgrades to keep pulling you forward while the plant keeps finding new ways to become a problem

I got a bit lost at the start, but it's quite entertaining and the scene design is really good—it looks nice—though I think I'll never know if I played it right or not lol

DeveloperSubmitted

fair point, the start can be a bit confusing because there are a lot of systems sitting there at once. there's not really one correct way to run it though, so if the reactor stayed alive you were doing something right

also glad the scene design stood out, i spent a lot of time trying to get the whole plant to look right

Its a little touch figuring out what to do, but once you understand the general components the game is more interesting and deep. Good job :)

DeveloperSubmitted

yeah the start probably could explain a bit more, i wanted some of it to be figured out while playing but it can definitely be confusing at first. glad it got more interesting once it clicked, thanks for playing

Very well done, beautiful design, fun mechanics! It looks like if I keep playing it has a lot more depth to it. Well done!

I'd love to write music for whatever you do next. This was cool!

DeveloperSubmitted

thanks, really glad you liked it. and yeah there's quite a bit more going on later

also that's actually good to know about the music, i'll keep you in mind for whatever i make next
