You garnered favor with the gnostocks devs after your insightful scribing. We shall vouch for you in court, just enough to only get banished no big deal. We stayed up unreasonably late trying to decipher how the favor system worked when it turns out...We are just dumb. I love the art, and the amount of detail you put into your story was impressive!

Developer

haha. thanks. The favor system could have been  made more clear as to how is worked. I don't think there are enough clues to really figure it out in the game as it stands. Maybe you can verify how close you were but *spoiler* the king has one of three moods, you can tell based on his portrait, you have to match the right response with his mood to get a stamp. (example blame + angry = stamp), you can choose to wait and the king will shift moods. However, you want to make sure your version of the report gets through that helps Norfolk or Cromwell, that is the only way to gain favor is to get a stamp! There is a secret ending if you tell only the truth.

Great job with this one! Very nice gameplay and art synergy. Clever to artstyle to use historical paintings with post-processing to get them to feel cohesive. The dialogue system is very polished as well. And the writing nicely immersed me into the court of King Henry.

Really unique submission! I didn't know what to expect, and this wasn't it (in a good way). Neat concept and neat overall style.

It's so nice, I like style and idea. Funny but our games looks familiar. Not completely, but it has same ways in the concept. I like it

Very interesting artstyle. Actually no clue how you managed that. Unique submission!

We loved the gritty style and the medieval theme. I’d say this is one of the games that caught my attention the most—besides my own game, that is. Great job. I gave you the score you deserve :)
