Hey! Nice game you created, I like topdown shooters and didn't see any other in the jam yet :)
I think the effect with the crosshair would have worked better if the mouse cursor would be removed during play. I could still easily aim using that.
Other than that the disorientation worked pretty good :) Nice game!

How does the game fit the theme?
The thing you can't trust is the game's own interface.
You have a laser sight. It starts honest, and as your paranoia rises it starts lying — an offset, an oscillation, a delay, a false refraction off a wall. The bullet always goes exactly to same point; only the line disagrees. Every shot becomes a small act of trust or distrust in the readout that's supposed to be helping you.
