How does the game fit the theme?
When evil, sentient 1s attack number society, you should most certainly trust no one. Get it? Eh? Ha! Heh heh.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

You did a great job!
The game has some polish to it. I like the way the title screen, shop, and upgrades look. Mechanically the game works fine.
I did feel like it was missing a bit of pizzaz. It's a bit boring at the start. You could fix this by adding some kind of larger 1 at the end, or needing fewer bullets to kill them, or even just having fewer 1's in the first level.
It's just that i found that I could group them all together by running around in circles, and then it just took a bit to kill them all, and that wasn't super interesting.
The real interesting part of the game is the shop and buying things to kill 1's faster, so the sooner i can get to the meat of the game the better.
or not! I'm just one person, and maybe the pace is better for someone else!
Anyway, well done, pat on the back for finishing a game. I know it's not easy, especially working by yourself.
Fun game, great job! The literal number one being "Trust No One" was great, glad at least one other person did that too lol
This is rly fun dude, well done
Wow this game was really silly and fun. Love the love the gameplay

Awesome 2D survival shooter. Fast-paced and plays beautifully!
With all it's goofiness, this will be one of the games I'll remember the most from the jam.
I absolutely love the silly vibe and the guns are fun to play with. I'd really like to see a bigger version with a variety of weapons like a shotgun or sniper.
A very minor complaint is that switching weapons could be done with a mouse scroll, like in many shooters.
Very good work!
Thank you! I was actually originally going to have a shotgun and a sniper before I cut them out due to the jam deadline, so it's funny you mention it. If I do ever make an expanded version, you can be sure to expect those. Fair point about the mouse scroll! I completely forgot about that, because I personally never do that in games so I have a blind spot for it.
The visuals and instructions were really clear, so I got into the game right away!! I confidently picked Normal at first… and then couldn’t even get past Wave 1 haha.I ended up playing way longer than I expected because every time I died I kept thinking, “That was such a dumb way to die, I’ll do better next time!”
The only thing I didn’t really get was how it connected to the theme. Other than that, really fun game!!
Thanks a lot! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The theme connection is admittedly a bit of a stretch, but it's a pun on how your enemies are literally the number one -- so naturally, you should trust no one. Because the ones are evil.
They outnumbered me one out of seven. I could not win. 10/10 game.
the visuals are pretty simple, but it's really fun and enjoyable! It reminds me a lot of games like brotato
