How does the game fit the theme?
something felt off about your friend. ne betrays you in the ending and it gives that theme trust no one and he made a mistake by trusting someone
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
some 3d models arnet made by myself they are downloaded from platform sketchfab and some sounds downloaded from pixabay but there's only 2 of these

thanks Merrtiz for playing.
Great game ! I liked the inspiration thorough the gameplay, that's actually impressive you managed to reach that little nightmare vibe, honestly super cool !!! Nice job you all !
well actually i programmed the whole thing and uhh designed maps and lots of 3d mdoels its just uhh a credits to other people who 3d modeleds some stuff. thanks for playing
The *Little Nightmares* inspiration really shines through—the atmospheric environments, unsettling vibe, and creepy character designs create a genuinely tense horror mood!
A few physics and interaction tweaks to keep in mind for post-jam updates:
- NPC Follower Behavior: Add a minimum stopping distance so the companion doesn't crowd you, block puzzle views, or push you off ledges.
- Puzzle Interaction & Snapping: Add a snap-to-grid/target feature for multi-part objects (like the chess pieces) so assembling them feels responsive and clear.
- Movement & Menus: Slightly bump up player walk speed, add soft barriers/invisible walls to prevent falling out-of-bounds, and include a pause menu option to restart or quit.
- Ambient Audio: Add subtle ambient soundtrack layers or background drone audio to build even stronger tension.
Awesome creepy atmosphere! If you get a chance, I'd really appreciate your feedback on my jam project as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
Nice job!
Very similar to little nightmares which i love.
Did have a hard time with the NPC that follows you. He pushed me off the map a few times
thank you for playing. yeah hehe npc is stupid as hell in my game. i will fix that
Definitely got a weird feeling playing this.
Strong little nightmares vibes, got really scared! Unfortunately I didn't manage to complete the chess puzzle because I didn't undertsand how to make the top parts connect properly. I think on your next games, if you make another npc that follows you, you could program it to stop walking if its within a certain distance of the player, he would get in front of me in the puzzle and make it even harder.
I am sorry for not mentioning in game that you have to hold Z to drag stuff. Thank you for playing
I actually figured it out! I just wasn't able to place the pieces correctly, I believe that could be easily fixed by just making the top-pieces snap to the bottom-pieces when you hover over them!
The character design was interesting, featuring a compelling environment. One thing that bothered me, however, was that the character's movement speed was very slow; it would have been better if it were a little faster. I also encountered a problem where I fell off the edge of the map from the top floor; there was no way back, and I had no access to the menu to restart the game. One more thing that could make the vibe more interesting is adding music; it's too quiet! Good luck!
Thank you for playing and rating the game. Yeah I know I don't have any music unfortunately I apologize sir . And about when you fell out of the map you can reopen the game
