How does the game fit the theme?
Gazza the guide / tutorial is untrustworthy. Don't trust your preconceived notions of how other minigolf games play, and definitely don't trust Gazza.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The music was externally sourced. Everything else was made from scratch by us during the jam.

Genuinely had such a good time with this. Managed to get a few secret holes :D The ball power felt really sensitive, but the attitude of the game is so nonchalant, it was hard to be frustrated. I wish the theme had a stronger presence. Great experience :)

The mechanic of the ball going out and still being playable is really cool. I ended up collecting the gas, it was a good incentive to play more creatively and explore. I trusted Gazza and got betrayed..!!!
Nice game, i enjpyed playing it, and the art looks good. I like the mecanic of the ball outside the green, but yeah as other said, the connection with the theme isn't clear haha
But good job on this one
I like being able to hit the ball up onto the green. Shooting like a basketball was fun
its a nice golfing game but i dont really understand how this goes along with the theme
Yeah, the link to the theme was a little loose.
Gazza never says anything true. (Ya can't trust him)
Honestly, we found that any functional link to the theme would negatively affect the gameplay, so we chose to keep it loose.
We're glad ya liked it though <3
I like the gameplay and the art of the game, but the connection to the theme isn't very clear to me
Yeah, our theming wasn't great.
Gazza never says anything true, so you can never trust him.
Pretty tenuous, I know. We found that anytime we integrated the theme into the gameplay, it would cripple the core fun of the game.
We're glad you enjoyed the game though <3
