How does the game fit the theme?
The foods don't trust each other presented through the 'disgruntled' mechanic.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I started with a camera controller, a scene manager, and an audio manager.

It was fun. The pizza and the carrot def need a nerf. got way too easy after the second round. but I see the vision. don't see how it relates to the theme, but it was still really fun to play. good job!

Very fun loop and setting for an auto battler. It took me a sec to understand that I could buy the food from the lunch lady screen so I appreciated the nudge to do it when I tried starting a battle without buying anything. The art is really fun and I like how angry all the food looks. I did miss a bit of a connection to theme but the game on its own was definitely fun.

This was a fun concept, could need a much more straightforward tutorial or I prolly skimmed through it xd, with better UI this can be a very great game!

The first time I played it, the food I bought didn't show up, but after restarting the game, everything worked. The music is really good, and the fights between the different foods are very original. However, I don't think it's the best representation of the theme.

I think you played it right when we patched that no spawning food bug haha. So on refresh you got the update.

I played 4 turns and on the 5th turn, the game froze and I couldn't keep playing :(
It was fun though

I loved the music (especially the main menu track), the sound effects, and the visuals, but I couldn't get past level 3 even after multiple attempts. My groceries were getting completely smashed to pieces!
