How does the game fit the theme?
You can’t trust your own past. Each round, your previous actions return as shadows that can turn against you.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I made the main arena, gameplay code, and core systems myself during the jam. I used third-party water shaders and a few VFX assets.

It was really enjoyable once I started going to  the different stages, but for some reason, no matter how much I hit the enemy, it doesn't go to the next stage. Other than all that though, the only other thing this needs is some sounds! This game has real potential and I hope you continue to work on it! :)

Nice game. initially I was confused, started blasting and realized my mistake very quickly :). Some sound would be nice though

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback!  I actually had sound planned, but time got me in the end, so I couldn’t implement it during the jam.  Really appreciate you playing and pointing it out!

A bit rough at this stage but can be promising if you keep developing it!

Developer

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I definitely agree there’s a lot more I can improve and build on. Really appreciate you taking the time to play it!

creative idea, never played something like that before, i think it has promise.  well crafted and plays well.

It would be nice to see how much dmg i'm doing to the enemies (or what remaining health they have).  I also seemed to run out of bullets and wasn't sure how I got them back.
Would play again, interested if you'll keep building.

You can reply like this, keeping it natural and addressing the reload issue:

> Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed the game and found the idea interesting!  The ammo does reload, but I definitely could’ve made that clearer in the game. The damage/health feedback is also something I wanted to add but didn’t get enough time for. Really appreciate the detailed feedback, and I’d definitely love to keep building on it!

Hahah !! Great game idea, can't even trust ourselves !! Well executed, it would've been cool to have a few more levels to struggle a bit more but funny idea !

Hahah, thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed the idea and the “can’t even trust ourselves” part! I actually had a few more levels planned, but time got me in the end. Thanks a lot for playing!

I enjoyed this one. its short, chaotic and fun! with a bit more content it would make a solid game! good job

Developer

Thank you!!

Really glad you enjoyed the chaotic little experience! I definitely had more content planned, so I’d love to expand it into a fuller game someday. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
