How does the game fit the theme?
There are health inspectors hidden amongst the customers. You can't trust what anyone says! Not even the cops are to be trusted...
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
some sound effects, font, highlight shader

Very pretty art and a fun setting. I'm not sure I ever figured out for sure how to tell who is a health inspector when running out of magnifying glasses but it still was fun to get away with selling rotten meat every single time.
I thought there would be more games like this at this jam. Right on topic. Really liked the art!
Thanks for playing!
Great Job Really Loved the character design, a little confused on the meat buying system but besides that had a good time.
Yeah I can definitely see how it's a bit confusing. Thank for playing and I'm glad you a had good time! ^^
Love the art! Nice work!
This art is awesome. Was this made all in 2d or is the bg 3d?
Hello, thanks for the feedback! Yes, everything is 2D and was drawn in Aseprite
Loved this game, for some reason it made me think of that SpongeBob episode where the health inspector comes.
Thank you so much!! I had forgotten about that episode, but it's very similiar now that you mention it :D
Great game, character art especially.
I'm glad you liked it! :D
Great game its always a pleasure to screw over an Inspector
Nice work! Took me a second to realize I could open that drawer to use items. Afterward, much better experience. Love how it goes well with the Jam theme.
Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to make the drawer more obvious ^^
Great work on this game, art is nice.
Thank you for playing!
I had a blast trying to palm off my lousy burgers, haha :D
The gameplay is solid—a well-oiled mechanic that’s easy to pick up—the vibe is cool, and the artwork is funny. It works really well! Great job!
I don’t know if there’s an ending (I stopped at difficulty level 6), but I got the impression it might be “endless”? In any case, the difficulty seemed well-balanced to me.
Thank you so much for the feedback! You are right it is endless after day 6 (I should probably specify that somewhere hahah)
