I really like the art, but I think the use of the theme is a bit basic, given the fact you know which chest to pick and the vendor does not lie. It becomes better the longer you go on, after you add more speed and chests, but I think the fact you can simply choose how many chests you can pick removes much of the risk reward. I think this type of game would fit better on a level-based system, but overall an enjoyable experience.

I'm really glad you didn't hold back and gave honest feedback - I love comments like that! In my defense, though, the theme was 'Trust No One', which doesn't necessarily mean lies. The theme kicks in when 50 chests are flying across your screen at high speed, making it physically impossible to track them, so you can't truly trust a single one 100%. I did think about doing a level-based progression, but decided to stick with the shop and items instead, as balancing linear levels to be neither too hard nor too boring for a jam would've been really tricky. This way, you can just craft whatever build you want at your own pace. Either way, thanks a lot for playing and leaving a review!
