nice framing, I like it! and while the trees look pretty nice, they do stand out from the rest of the piece with how many colors shades they have, I think you would have to give the same treatment to the rest of the piece if you want it to work, but that's its own beast lol or you could simplify the trees themselve
I'd also recommend trying to use less shades whenever possible, like with the clouds. I feel like you could've achieved a better result with 3 or so shades instead of 6 if used properly
I do agree with you! I went a little overboard with the trees for sure, and they steal quite a lot of attention! (I will for sure be keeping in mind to be more careful about my detail placement, in the future)
I can also agree with you on the clouds! The clouds were one of the things I personally didn't like how it turned out in the piece. I felt that the shapes were to rigid and didn't have that fluffiness and volume that a real cloud has. Though as I haven't (generally speaking) drawn a lot of clouds, I felt that it wasn't too bad.
That being said, I should for sure spend a lot more time practicing them and improving at it! And I agree that starting with 3 colors would be a good start!

no problem, you did an awesome job! it's just that it can be hard to know what to prioritize so I try to draw the whole thing bit by bit without letting myself get lost in one area while the rest of the piece is a sketch lol keep that in mind for the future too

I love how you coloured the sky, moon and clouds, they go so well together! To improve the perspective I would make the trees get smaller they closer they are to the moon

I really appreciate it! And I feel that you are really right about the trees. I should have remembered that when things go further away from us they lose detail and become smaller! I will try to be more careful about it in the future!

Hey! You created such a beautiful atmosphere in this piece! I love it.
I will say since the trees are super rendered and there are a lot of them it kind of takes the focus away from the moon..
But still really interesting piece and great choice of colors!

As for the trees I can agree with you. With the main focal point being the moon, I may have added a little more detail that it was necessary. I will for sure keep it in mind (as something to be careful of), for future projects and pieces!

That sky is amazing. I'm really loving the highlights on the clouds, and the reflection of the moon in the river. Really nice shading and detailing.

Only the perspective feels a little odd. It lies somewhere between the stylistic simplifications often made for a 2D topdown pixel art games and a full 3D perspective.

I can for sure understand that the perspective might be off, though sadly, I am still learning about perspective and how to apply it, so I probably didn't really noticed it!
(For this piece I also wanted to go a little on my own, and didn't ask for critique beforehand which I feel contributes to this mistake)
