How does the game fit the theme?
The game explores the concept where trust is a critical currency. Every decision you make carries a high price: trusting the wrong visitor leads to an immediate disaster, testing the player's judgment under extreme pressure.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Everything was made from scratch during the jam (except for standard engine libraries).

Really cool game! Art is incredible, really like the style here! Music is also really nicely done, and the game fits the theme well! I do think it'd be nice if there was a bit more of a direct consequence to letting in the wrong person, perhaps a little qte you have to do while judging the next 3 or so people or something of the like? Gameplay was really smooth and polished, and the game was really fun!
Very much enjoyed playing it, also insane job on doing all the music, modeling, and programming on your own! That's mad impressive, keep it up :D
Buckshot roulette visuals + Papers please/That's not my neighbor gameplay. Pretty cool. Actually amazing that it was all done by one person.
The Buckshot Roulette-inspired PSX claymation aesthetic, dithering post-processing, and creepy anomaly-detection checkpoint loop make this entry an absolute masterpiece! Creating custom SFX, hand-crafted textures, and genuine jumpscare tension completely on your own in 7 days is a phenomenal solo achievement.
A few audio, anomaly mechanics, and monster behavior polish ideas for post-jam updates:
- Monster Interactions: Finish implementing the monster console-tampering code so when an anomaly enters, they actively mess with controls or UI readouts before the jumpscare triggers.
- Audio Variety & Looping: Add secondary atmospheric music tracks or dynamic ambient shifts across later levels to prevent the main background track from feeling repetitive.
- Failure Punishment & Anomaly Pacing: Introduce a slight strike system or clearer game-over consequences when letting an anomaly through, while tightening spawn rates so cult/horror dialogue events appear earlier in runs.
Unbelievable art direction, top-tier atmosphere, and insane solo execution! If you get a free minute, I'd really appreciate your feedback and rating on my solo jam entry as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback and high praise (even if it does read a little bit like AI, haha)!
Regarding the penalty for mistakes: losing money is already the clearest punishment possible, as it directly ruins your run! But your other suggestions for post-jam polish are really interesting.
By the way, I checked out your game as well - it's awesome, and I gave it a high rating! Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!
Wow, what a great game! The atmosphere is great and the jumpscare got me. Good job, keep it up! :)
DAMN. The ambient, and the overal style. it's dope. I love the design like stop motion x psx vibe. Feel like manipulating clay or something.
The fact that everything is super clear too, it's straight forward design side, i like it. Perfect cohesive experience !
If you like PSX style, you can test our game too, feel free !
Great job with the overall cohesion of the game, this is very impressive from a one person team!
This was so unsettling but I assume that was the goal so good job! I loved the art style; it felt like a combination of early 3D graphics + claymation which is pretty cool. The whole world and atmosphere that you created was very creepy. I do wish there was more to the audio though because after the second level or so, I went and turned down my volume as the loop became a bit too repetitive for me.
Thank you so much for the compliments on the visuals!Regarding the audio, it was definitely tough to compose a full, non-repetitive soundtrack within the jam's time limit - especially since I also had to create all the other SFX from scratch (button clicks, dialogue sounds, money-counting loops, etc.). Thanks a lot for the honest feedback, and thank you for playing!
genuinely loved everything about this one! the vibes, the art direction, the spooky jumpscare guy lol. I never got any dialogue about cults, but maybe i just got unlucky or it was a fake out 'sign'? it is 'trust no one' so, trusting our employer should probably be included hahah
Reading this makes me so insanely happy! Thank you so much! As for the cult dialogue, it's definitely in the game! However, since anomalies spawn with a random chance, it's very rare but totally possible to go through without seeing them for a long time. So you were actually just incredibly lucky! Haha, thanks again for playing!
The art and music go absolutely CRAZY Great work! I actually got scared of the jumpscares when I knew they were coming too qwq
the style reminds me a lot of buckshot roulette, wow, amazing visuals for the time you had ON YOUR OWN TOO OMG
Great checkpoint-mimic stuff! I think the monster was the least interesting part of the game though, expected him to tamper with the console or similar when he showed up. I did have to beat the game and go back to let the monster in and see what he does though. Huge for such a simple concept!
Thank you so much for the kind words and for playing through the game! I really appreciate it.
You're spot on about the monster - I actually wanted him to mess with the console (there's even some leftover code for that!), but with the tight jam deadline, I just couldn't pull it off in time. My main priority was nailing the core gameplay loop and making sure the game felt smooth. Thanks again for the great feedback!
