How does the game fit the theme?
You receive two radio messages and have to decide who tells the truth. You shouldn't trust them.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

Very cool! But I wasn't really sure how to get any other endings. I also ran into 2 bugs. The first one didn't lock or snap my mouse for an entire playthrough. When I tried to start the game over after getting the bad ending, the game loaded but I was frozen in place. But otherwise, this is a solid entry!

This short detective game delivers an amazing war-bunker atmosphere with fantastic 3D models and a brilliant radio interrogation concept. Scouring your room for clues to figure out who is telling the truth fits the jam theme perfectly and makes for a really engaging loop.

Good game please rate my game

I liked the visuals - the static shader overlays, the items in the room. The controls felt nice. Though I wish the clues could've lasted a bit longer to read and take in the information; for instance I don't think I saw what I was supposed to see through the binoculars - it happened so quickly. With tuning the pacing I feel it would've been solid. Nice entry!

The concept is interesting, although I feel like there’s almost no time to react after listening to the radio. When I finished listening to the radio, it asked me to pick up the headphones, but it didn’t let me grab them quickly enough. I was exploring the room when I noticed that the light had already appeared. I literally just looked around the room and turned around with the binoculars, so I didn’t take long at all.

Another issue I noticed, although I’m not sure if it’s a problem with my browser, is that when you lose and try to play again, you can’t move. The game doesn’t respond, and even the dialogue doesn’t appear. So there seems to be a bug there.

Really cool concept, but it could be expanded a little further

The game kinda lagged for me at first sadly maybe due to may potato pc :(
but beside that I played the game and it was really good ! First i gotta say i love the artwork then the mechanics is smooth and to be made by just one guy this is a very good effort,  i'd say make this game even more polished and release it in the market after a time and it will have a high chance of blowing up in the market ! great work mate ! I'd love if you check out my game too.

First of all, the game definitely has a lot of potential! I just think the dialogue goes by too fast. Since you can't manually move on to the next line once you're done reading, having the dialogue progress automatically that quickly makes it quite difficult to follow. I found it hard to stay focused on what was being said and figure out who was actually telling the truth. I think letting players progress through the dialogue themselves would work much better!

I loved the artwork! The timer also felt way too fast, though. We barely have enough time to move around and explore for clues before it's already over. I think giving players a little more time would make the investigation aspect much more enjoyable.

I also think a few more indicators could be helpful. For example, the controls could be displayed somewhere, and instructions like “Explore for clues” could be bigger or more noticeable, as I didn't see them immediately.

I actually replayed the game twice, once and got the bad ending, then a second time and got the good ending! I liked having different outcomes, and it gave me a reason to try again.

Overall, this was a nice and short game! I think the narrative could be developed a little further and some additional context could help make everything clearer, but I enjoyed playing it. Thanks for sharing! :)

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! :)

I plan to develop the game in the future, so I will try to add these things after the jam.

A fun little game with a war setting!

The 3D models are really well done, and I really like the atmosphere inside the base!

One thing I noticed is that the radio and walkie-talkie are placed a little too close together. A few times when I pressed E to interact, I accidentally triggered the radio again and skipped the walkie-talkie report TT

Really fun game overall! It kind of feels like a little escape room game, which I really enjoyed! :D

Thank you for playing! :)

The walkie-talkie is only used for the first message, and after that the two main radios take over. So you didn't miss a thing.

Glad you enjoyed the escape room vibe! :D

The chaotic sound design is super immersive, and the theme fit is absolutely on point!

The page isn't responding for me, probably bc I'm using Windows 10 for this, sorry though.

Wow the vibes are so on point. Great job on this! It was really enjoyable and well done.

Cool concept reminds me of 1983 soviet wrong nucleer alarm incident. Great work

Frequency Of Doubt is a short, but well done game. The concept is well executed, with little bugs. And the 3D models were made quite well. The gameplay of looking through your hideout was pretty enjoyable, with you needing to look at the objects around you to figure out who is lying.

My one critique would be the text flies by too fast, but you manage to catch on after the first message.

While not many point this out, your thumbnail is well done!

All in all, a great jam submission.

Once i understood how to properly look for clues its a nice gameplay loop. could be an interesting idea, like that war sim game where you pilot a rocket launcher, but with a intel twist and situational awareness of the war progress.

The atmosphere and attention to detail are excellent, and I’d really love to see this game developed further. I’m very curious to see what happens next. There were a few moments during the game where I felt a little confused, but once I understood what was going on, I found it really interesting and enjoyable.

The interactive environmental investigation, radio interrogation mechanic, and crisp atmospheric graphics make this short detective experience a perfect fit for the jam theme! Having to scan your surrounding base environment to answer radio prompts creates such a clever and hands-on investigation loop.

A few QoL, UI, and audio tweaks to consider for post-jam updates:

- Text Skipping & Replayability: Add a dialogue skip option so replaying after a loss feels smooth, and randomize the radio questions/answers so second runs stay fresh.

- Mouse & UI Controls: Fix the mouse cursor lock issue after pressing ESC so navigation stays fluid, and allow players to back out or cancel a radio choice before committing.

- Audio Sync & Performance: Polish the transition audio between walking SFX and radio triggers to eliminate audio clipping, and optimize performance for lower-end PCs.

Short, sweet, and brilliant concept! If you get a free minute, I'd really appreciate your feedback and rating on my solo jam project as well: /jam/brackeys-16/rate/4953523
