Really nice game! I really liked the dialog and the animations you did for Risky. It feels polished and nice to play. Congrats!
At first, I just enjoyed the dialogue and thought it was all about luck. A really nice game idea!
thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the dialogue :)
Quite interesting interpretation of the theme, I couldnt get the trick of how to win though
thanks for playing!
A small hint: keep an eye on the time and compare it to your result when you press roll
I’m having nightmares with this demonic one eyed dice now. I think that it will manipulate even my RPG games.
Liked the “hidden” mechanic, very well made game!
thanks for playing!
Looks like I did a good job with the horror elements then XD
Loved it, excellent use of theme, very fun character.
I _think_ I understood the 3rd puzzle, but man is it hard to do math quickly while the timer is going. I couldn't keep up once I got to 4 - I am after all a mere mortal (now without a soul)
haha, yeah! I lost my soul at leas half a dozen time too XD
When I play tested for the fitst time I almost scratched the idea. It took me some tries to get used to doing the math. What helped me was choosing some key numbers and focusing on them.
For a second I thought this game ignored the theme until I realized there was some sort of pattern at play.
SPOILER
This is a really creative way of subverting the role, as well as just a creative puzzle game. I get the pattern for level 1, I think the second one is related to division or greatest common factor, the third I know it related to the amount of dice you have left but I'm still stumped on it. Going to see if I can figure out the trick to that one. Great game! Thanks for playing!
Yup, you're on the right track on the third level.
The second level though is way simpler than that, though it does give me ideas :3
Well, good luck on figuring things out! Glad you're having fun!
Ugh, I tried my best to solve this puzzle. I don't get it yet. I think I'll come back later.
It's a good game idea; I like it.
Thanks for playing!
Considering how primitive random number generators were in Ye Elden Days, I wouldn't be surprised if a game like this was actually made!
[ !!! SPOILER WARNING !!! ]
That was cool! The premise is funny, keeping track of the timing is stimulating, and Risky is quite charming.
I could just be having Bad Time Feel right now, so feel free to correct me on this
, but I'm not entirely convinced[EDIT: MISINFO REDACTED]All-in-all, great work!
Yay! Ya got it!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
About the timing, the RNG is based on the timer thats shown, along with another variable, always visible to you (with the exception of level 2) . There's no way to have a drift on this. It seems to me that you are looking at it on the wrong way, though you are very close :3
My apologies. Thanks for the confirmation! 😅 I run into much stranger oversights and bugs in game jams, so I wanted to check.
Why do I have the feeling that this demonic dice is manipulating the dice result?
5/5
Thanks for playing!
And about your question...
Good presentation in general. It gets tiring fast tho
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah, sorry for that... I thought of letting the player skip the levels they already beat, but then I decided against that... I wanted to make sure the player did understand how to pass each level and not simply blindly pressed roll
all you do is roll, theme was "luck aint got nothing to it" or smth like that i believe
Yup, "all you do is roll". Sure. But... Are you sure that you are doing it correctly?
