How does the game fit the theme?
A card has been drawn from the deck, and its secret is yours to uncover. Choose a witness to question or accuse — but beware, for one speaks truth, one speaks lies, and one speaks as fortune wills. Question them wisely, and name the card correctly if you are clever enough.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music, SFX, assets, the audio manager script

Nice one

This is a great, really well-polished game! I enjoyed it even though I was bad at it lol.

I really liked the visuals of the book and using different pages to handle different information c:
I enjoyed trying to guess the card but most of my brainpower was used to discern the roles... I got both wrong every time xD

I like it, it's really clever and the audio and visuals are so engaging. I couldn't work it our tho, it was so hard!!! I loved it, and i imagine that would be the perfect game for someone who's really good at logic.

I liked this game, had me thinking really hard during it (only to guess wrong lol), fits the theme nicely as well. Creates a nice balance of information sorting and deduction.

Only thing is that i wish the comments made from each person was arranged in a table of sorts? or maybe the prince, joker and knight had different colors for their text, to make it easier to tell who’s saying what at first glance.

the book spread is lovely and the jester rhyming his answer back at me sold it instantly. limited questions against witnesses who might be lying is a tidy little deduction loop

Very creative and very fun

Really cool game, had a lot of fun with some playthroughs. One thing though, if the number is 3 or 5, you need to gamble 3/4, since you can't deduce the suit nor the number exactly. You should try to keep updating and publishing it! Great job!

more people should rate this game honestly its a hidden gem , you should probably release this officially ;D

Really really cool aesthetic and sound design. The page flipping was so crisp. Great execution. Would appreciate if you also review mine :). https://weazel1.itch.io/lieght-the-way

What a great game, I really enjoyed that!

Very clever concept, well executed. The number of each type of action must have been carefully chosen - I think they were balanced well.

My favourite so far from the Jam, well done!
