How does the game fit the theme?
The enemies in the crowd look similar to civilians; it's up to you to tell the difference ;)

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
all are made by me

I am a big fan of the isometric artwork and the pallet, Initially i wasn't sure what to do, but fun all the same 👍👍

Developer

Thanks for playing! I had no idea why I decided to do isometric art lol but il looks good somemhow

As others have said, not much direction on what to do, and the movement really doesn't feel good (too slow, unfitting momentum, unintuitive colliders, getting stuck on some corners/spots that look traversable). I did really like the art/aesthetic though.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I had to rush the game a bit.

Angry birds in a lovely isometric theme. Where is the key to break out of the gate?

Developer

Thanks! The key is with the bird outside the superintendant!

There isn’t much direction on what to do or how to do it, though I gave it a shot. It certainly looks appealing, I love the aesthetic. Movement feels like it’s physics based, when maybe it shouldn’t be. It feels sluggish.

Developer

I made all the systems from the zero and I was having a problem with non-physics movements, so I kind of winged it lol. The story itself was a bit rushed too.

The game looks great. I think the movement speed could be increased a bit, the game felt a bit slow.

The crow designs are so good!
Maybe you could add a small variation to the pitch in the footsteps? I think that would go a long way!

Developer

Thanks for playing! i think the random patch on the footsteps was too small to notice lmao/

After having found the pages of the book and slept, i was supposed to find jonny. Where is Jonny ? Btw, i had fun, for the little bit I played. The art style and gameplay are fine, and the theme is respected. gj

Developer

I didn't make it very obvious, but he's the character in an outline outside the superintendent's house.  Thanks for playing tho!

Really liked the art style and narrative, a little light on gameplay, but the atmosphere was cool good job man.

Developer

thanks for the feedback!

I'm in love with the artstyle, particularly the crow sprites! I couldn't understand the gameplay, though

Developer(+1)

Thanks,! I didn't really make a tutorial, so it's a bit wierd

Developer

Cool art style, although collisions feel unpredictable so it's kinda hard to play, but i enjoyed it anyway, good work)

Developer

I kind of had to wing it with collisions; I would have loved to fix them. Thanks for the feedback!
