Really cool style and atmosphere. The idea is fun and the detective gameplay works well, even if the clues can feel a bit vague sometimes. I enjoyed the intro and the overall vibe a lot. ☺

I really like this game. It's great that there was a more artistic introduction that built the mood. The gameplay itself was quite enjoyable, but I missed a bit of a build-up to the situation in each level. There was a murder story, but it was very unspecific. I had the most trouble with the final level. I've played it many times, and I think the problem isn't the number of clues, but rather the lack of specificity, which sometimes meant I simply couldn't draw any conclusions. I like the combination of 2D and 3D graphics and the UI in general and the strings are very nice. Overall, I enjoyed playing, it's a great game ♥

With so many roles and so few victims, I'm not sure how to actually come to a logical deduction about the killer.  Also, I don't see any connection between someone owning a weapon, a description of a weapon, and that weapon being used in a murder (especially being used by its owner, since everyone seems to have access to all the weapons anyway lol)

love the style of this game, especially the sketchy handdrawn animations paired with low-poly 3d models. it gives off the charming handcrafted personality a lot of modern games are missing! the game itself was short and simple but I still had a good time. with only 3 levels, I didn't really find myself having to understand each role, although I do see a lot more potential with this format. while playing i was hoping we'd get into some situations where, say, someone claims another person is a forensic but the person is an outlier, and you'd have to reason through whether or not to trust their judgement creating a bit more of a logic puzzle. regardless, this was a cool little game especially for something made in just 1 week!

Really cool game! I love this kind of stuff. I took me a while and reread the description several times to get how it works, but once I got it it is pretty cool investigate who is the killer, good work!

Nice game, I like the style, it’s effective. Sometimes, because of the randomness, I ended up in a situation where I hadn’t any clue to work the case… Good concept though, I enjoyed playing it!

Really fun and simple. The menu and UI is very clean and polished and I liked the intro cutscene. There are some issues with the talk boxes an it would have been easier if switching out the wepon immidiately made them switch to the new lines instead of having to move away and back to see the new dialogue, encountered some camera gltiches that stopped it from moving in a ceirtan direction but it was not game breaking and fixed itself after a few seconds.

More sound design could have deffinetly made this much more immsersive.

Also check out our project!

Really enjoyed a detective game for this theme and it was definitely tricky piecing together the puzzle between each person to narrow down on the killer each time. I also liked the menu/camera tilt to pick your level, very nice touch. I had a hard time keeping track of who was who because the models  were similar but that's obviously a jam constraint :) Well done!

Interesting game dynamics. It would’ve been cool to have more information and a deeper investigation within the same level. That would make me feel like I was in an Agatha Christie crime novel ahah. Some music could also help shape that vibe

Developer

yeah I agree with the more information and deeper investigation, would definitely like to implement that and add more music too, appreciate the feedback, cheers!

Like the gameplay! had to really brainstorm to find out the real killer in each level! The controls was a bit off to understand! Visual style is very nice for this game! Cheers! Would love to see many levels ahead.

It's really interesting to see the world-space pop up dialogue texts for each of the characters I stumble across. However, I don't know if convicting a person does anything other than them saying "it's not me" 🤣.

The visuals and the sound ambiance is incredible though.
