Man, I just tried to write an informative post that others could actually get some value from (a post-mortem), but with all the "rate for rate" threads flooding the board, the forum has basically become unusable as an actual forum - even though I understand that people just want to get some attention for their games.

Kind of a shame, honestly.

It saddens me to see such a polished post get buried under “Rate for rate” posts. That’s exactly what I had in mind when I wrote this one.
On the one hand, I understand - especially younger or newbie game devs (like me) who are trying to attract players, on the other hand, I fully get the frustration of someone who spent a ton of time on a post only to have it pushed into the abyss by a ruthless army of 20 “Rate4Rate” warriors.  I have idea if thats the standard of the gamejam community board and wondering if there's any way to balance this out.
