Great game! I really liked the idea of gathering all the "bad" luck elements and creating different levels with them. Congrats!
The intro is really nice, and I like the game idea too. The controls feel a little clunky, but other than that, it’s a great game!

I liked the graphics, simple yet cohesive and event the slower pace is thematic to the nokia 3310. I also liked the cat jokes. The game is too short to really explore it's premise and bring new ideas tho.
If I had a dollar for every maneki-neko I encountered during a game jam, I would be a rich man!
That was cute! I like the nursery rhyme style music in the cutscenes, and the characters are charming. The low frame-rate is a good detail.

A few minor details, just because I'm really nitpicky:
Thank you! And, yeah I went back and forth on the jump key! I should have made both space and up work. My brain likes the space better, but agree that the up arrow key makes more sense with the movement.
And yeah, that visual damage indicator is another thing that got short shifted in my time crunch sadly!
Great game! I think the ability to open doors is unlocked after defeating all the enemies, right? If so, I don't think I understood that at first. I really enjoyed the boss fight at the end. Well done.
Super cute! It really reminds of one of my own games with the same name and theme, lol! (although the whole gameplay is completely different) It's so awesome to see more black cat games where the aforementioned black cats take their totally understandable villain arcs ><

I liked the game's atmosphere, and I found it very relaxing.
Really cute! It was enjoyable and pretty fun, I really like the idea, but jumps feel too fast and hard to use. Cat jumps and falls way too fast to control it. Plus it would be much more helpful if by pressing Enter first the text would appear in one go, and only second press would advance it. Sometimes text takes way too long to load in to read it and you just by instinct press Enter but it just skips the line completely which sucks. And bossfight is rather too simple, considering lucky cat doesn't attack the bottom row at all. It's just wait for it to shoot, go up and shoot the head and go down to the bottom row. Other than these three things it's really great!
Yeah I agree on all fronts, these are all things I wanted to fix but was too crunched for time near the end after being sick. The dialogue one was especially annoying because I could have sworn I fixed it but clearly hallucinated that. Thanks for the feedback!

This is a pretty fun game, it reminds me a lot of early 80's arcade platformers. I thought walking under ladders was a clever twist!
