How does the game fit the theme?
The cards need to be monitor each other as they don't trust each other. Some cards will not monitor other cards due to various reasons. Need to sort them in valid sequence were every card is monitored by another as no one is to be trusted!!

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

First of all, I want to praise the card art. I thought it was phenomenal; the background might have even deserved something a bit more elaborate than just plain green. A pixel-art background that matched the card art would have been a nice touch.

The minigame concept is great. I really appreciated the effort put into creating a tutorial. It’s quite innovative and fun to figure out solutions under a time limit.

Really good game and very entertaining despite how simply it looks.

One day I want to try to play it with physical cards.

Cool idea, the game feels very polished, well done!

My only struggle was to keep all the rules in mind :D

The sounds are satisfying! It took me a while to get but I worked it out.

I thought that this game was really fun to play and fairly easy to pick up. I think the pacing of the cards added was balanced as well. Good job!

I appreciated the quality of life add with the cards that were wrong wiggling. I did feel like when I was dealing with the intricate suit dynamics it was bit of guessing. The whole thing looks great and feels polished!

How to Play

Arrange all the cards into a valid sequence before time runs out! Each card monitors the card to its right. The rightmost card monitors the leftmost, forming a loop.

  • King: cannot monitor a Queen.
  • Queen: cannot monitor the King of its suit.
  • Jack: cannot monitor a card of its suit.
  • Ace: cannot monitor a card of its color.
  • Joker: can monitor any card.

Every hand is guaranteed to have at least one valid solution.

P.S: Clarifying the goal of the game for any future reviewers

Cards mointor to their right, and loop back:

[CARD1] --- monitors ---> [CARD2] --- monitors--->[CARD3]

I didn't quite understand the goal of the game, i tried the tutorial but didn't get it. spending some more time on the tutorial could be something to do if you keep working on this project
