The concept of this game is really entertaining! I love the dual challenges of trying to make the recipes while the Detective hovers around investigating. The rules were not super clear (how many rounds? what is the condition that ends the game?) but for a 72 hour game, this is a great base to build on! Also, the illustrations make me smile, they're super cute!
This is a very cute game with some interesting ideas, I really like all the extra achievements to make the win/lose conditions a bit more interesting. I'm not sure if I'm not seeing it, but I don't know how many rounds the game is supposed to last, or does it just go until one player successfully cooks a recipe? It needs development but you have a solid start.
Any game that reminds me of Iron Chef or Food Wars is always a win for me. 😁
I like how the detective is the coin you must flip. It gives a very “troped” vibe to it and I loved it!
The only issue I ran into was trying to determine what the order of the game was in. The game was fun, but I had to number the panels myself so I would not get lost.
This is really cute. I saw on your page that your inspiration was “Mario Party (A game I love and hate <3)”. I am SOOOOO with you on that!
This is interesting and clever! It has me pondering different interactions that could make it a bit more Mario Partyesque… I have a question about this section here:
It is noted in the sell it bullet point that you put the card back. Do you keep the card if it is your ingredient, or does that get put back too? If the card is kept, this could be a potential point where you could add a sabotage mode.
If the reveal of a card is kept secret from the other player than keeping an ingredient that is your opponents wouldn’t gain you an ingredient or a coin, but would sabotage their progress finding their ingredients. So come win/lose time this could be a press-your-luck kind of consequence. If you got all your ingredients first but tally up all your (and their) “sabotage” (cards you secretly kept that were not yours) cards and they have less than you, then you’re caught as the sabotour and get disqualified from the competition.
Of course, you may already have ideas of your own. Just sharing the thoughts that came to me during my read through. Well done on your entry, and for making lovely art for it too.

The art for this game is just irresistible, you're so talented :) And the game is also fun , it has such a lovely slow and steady atmosphere that really encourages you to think about what food means to you.
Thank you! I’m happy you liked the art and have fun! I thought about using actual recipes at first (that is also a good idea!), but then the thought of having to take account your senses when dealing with food seemed really interesting so I had to try it ✨✨
I don't know if the 13 spots are supposed to be in a row or a grid. I assume a row. It is very light on role playing. I do wish there was a way to interact with the other player. And everyone is being sabotaged. How? *Shrug*. I can't be a saboteur. I think it would be fun it would be fun to be able to steal from the other player at the risk of being caught by them and or the detective. There are really cool and interesting ideas here and I wish you had more than 72 hours. I like the game and see a lot of potential for growth. ps. I do love achievements. :)
Ohh, it seems I forgot to clarify this part lol it was supposed to be a grid where you would start wherever you want, but if using it in a row worked, that’s also fine!
Yeah, when I manage to take a look at it again, I would try to solve this saboteur mode. I wanted to include it in more detail but I was very sleepy at the time so I focused on working on the recipes at least. Yey, achievements are so nice!! 🙌🙌
