The art is incredible but I think it might need a tutorial because I didn't understand how to actually choose my food for the fight.

You just click the food walking around and a big popup appears with its stats and there is a button at the top of the popup to buy it.
Did you click on a food and not understand the button or did you not try to click on the food?
I must have missed the button on the pop-up then. Feeling a bit silly :D. I will try it again with that in mind. Thank you
