How does the game fit the theme?
Trusted no one in life. Now we ride a lonely train.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
My UnscriptedEngine framework just to help me develop things a tad bit more structured. I liked Unreal Engine's structuredness and I liked Unity's open endedness. UnscriptedEngine is just a combination of those 2 philosphies.

How many people worked on the game?

Music and visuals made for a very nice experience, I really enjoyed it! It's a shame the game isn't finished, hope you continue to work on it after the jam is finished :D

Aww, is there no way to get the train going after it comes to a halt? This kind of graphics and atmosphere is super relaxing though, hope you don't abandon the game after the jam! :D

Oh and one thing I'd recommend is to add a visual crosshair. Sometimes it's hard to see if you're pointing at the lever.

I realy liek the concept, and i think you should continue the development of the game if you can. The lever sistem is realy great and fun to deal with, altho it has a bug, were if we "lose" either pressure or heat, it sometimes just becomes frozen, and we cant get it back up.

Other than that, great ambiance, it was cool to find some ducks, and i will wait to see the finished product!

Thank you!! 😀

I saw a video of during the jam and I finally found it!

I really liked the monochromatic world! The music was great and I liked the conpect of pulling levers, turning valves and buttons to control the train.

I also hope continue this project! I would add a window to see what is in front the train of just to enjoy the views when everything is going well.

Haha thank you :) I'm glad I could create visuals that were somewhat appealing.

The train not having windows in the front and only being able to see behind you was actually a symbolization of someone who only looked back but I think just having a window to enjoy more scenery would be good too hehe

The beginning was fun, when I was zooming, but when I got to a halt, I couldn't get it going again... The pressure and the temperature stayed red no matter what I did.

Developer

Apologies! The pressure was meant to slowly recover when coming to a halt like fuel. Thanks for playing anyways 😁

The all-white world with just the rails cutting through it is a lovely, lonely image - hope you get to finish this one after the jam!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Did you manage to meet any of the ducks that appear along the way? :D

I like the settings you make. And it is very brave to build a 3D game and using such an engine in a one week gamejam. Some points I'd like to tell you: The duck is quite, why not make a feed option their. Enlarge the font size, it is a little bit hard for player to read. And I don't know how to restart at all. Hope you can finish your game later.
