How does the game fit the theme?
The game clearly has a theme of trusting no one as everyone can be trying to sell you a mimic

Great application of the theme! And I really appreciated the in-depth tutorial + visuals. Not many jam games do that, leaving me to just have to guess a bit. Good job!
Really fun little game. One complaint I have is that it's really finicky to hit small objects like a coin with a hammer. It just swings through and wastes time. Other than that, very solid game.
I like the parts you chose to focus on given the theme.
Really cool concept! Checking each item for mimics under a time limit kept me on my toes the whole run. The medieval shopkeeper vibe is super cozy. Tutorial helps a lot...
This was really fun! I liked the variety of customers and the timed item checks a lot. The video tutorial was a nice touch as well. I think with a few more systems you could definitely expand this into a full game for example being able to spend the money you make on upgrades or something similar. I found it difficult to hit the coin with the hammer since it was quite small, and I didn't encounter an item that broke with the hammer.
Good game, but there are some weak spots. Like sound of hummer impact are too strange (i don`t think metal sword will sound like a wood), and fire check is a bit strange (like i don`t want to check a book with fire lol). Any way wery interesting consept. Like it!
Very solid game, I really enjoyed it. Great job! Just needs a shop or item upgrade system and it’s good to release
