How does the game fit the theme?
The whole shift is people telling you things, and none of them know they're wrong. Radar sees nothing because the targets haven't crossed the horizon yet. The second station agrees, but its horizon mask covers the same arc, so that isn't a second opinion. Two commands confirm the same launch independently and both turn out to be reading one satellite, which is when you learn that agreement isn't proof if everyone is holding the same piece of paper. Even your analysts, who are honest, charge you the minutes you needed. At dawn Moscow scores your night, and I would not trust that either.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most icons are from assets I bought on a bundle deal and most textures are from royalty-free texture websites with some Photoshop editting on top. Fonts are all from Adobe Fonts or Google Fonts.

I like the theme, and it's a great premise!

I thought the difficulty ramp was too steep, along with the tutorial messages. I was reading basically one message each alert, explaining some pattern to look for, but I only had 20-30s to read that message, think about what the pattern meant, look for it, etc. I get why there's no pause, but having that with the tutorial meant I was mostly ignoring those messages. I think more, shorter days would help early on.

I ended up surviving, but I wasn't really sure if I was doing a good job or not. I was making decisions based on signals and such that I was seeing, but I really didn't know if I was making the right decisions, or misreading something, and not having any feedback until the end of the game makes it hard to know what I should be improving.

This is my first time playing a game with this kind of theme, and it totally caught me off guard — in the best way. Such a fun game!

The attention to detail here is incredible, everything's very in-depth, and there's just so much other stuff going on that really adds to the immersion! The visuals are really good, all is nice and polished, and the audio is also great! The story and writing is really good, and the game fits the theme really well!

Very much enjoyed this one, definitely one of my favorites so far! Keep it up :D

The sound design, visuals, overall design, and the idea were all really interesting. Great job!

What an absolute gem of a game, great level of polish, great visuals, great music, although it's a bit sad that the best one is reserved for the title screen. Your writing is top notch, it reminded me a lot of the Paranoia TTRPG. Amazing way to set the tone. The whole cold tea sequence is great.

Gameplay itself is also pretty great, although It may be a bit too slow to get going. I felt like the early game was both too long and too easy, which damaged the tone quite a bit. The game gets a lot more engaging when difficulty really starts to ramp up and you get 2-3 alerts back to back.

Overall really solid entry, probably in my top 3 for the entier jam. Amazing work.

Really cool! Loved the audio and visual design of it, you nailed it. I think gameplay wise its too overwhelming. I assume thats partially intentional but its hard to absorb all of the text being thrown at you constantly. It was also very difficult to tell what the results for the different tools would be or why you would use one over the other. Instead I just relied on "green bar on left" or "red bar on left" then guessed from there. Did not really feel like I was making an actual judgement call or interpreting the findings. But still well done. Really cool idea with great audio visual execution.

this is incredibly polished. very well done

Super polished game! Sound design was great, interface and highlighting was production grade.

And it was definitely immersive, A+

Very polished and focused experience. It's great that you give the option to skip the tutorial, but whoever does is missing out on some comedy gold. "Two reports may still be one report wearing two uniforms" and "The important thing is to be wrong quietly" are two lines I'll be quoting from now on.

Also is the constant ringing (at about 4000Hz) in the background intentional? Because at first I thought it was my ear ringing until I took off my headphones.

Thank you for playing!
About the background noise, it is the console humming but it was supposed to be nearly imperceptible. You must have great hearing, because none of the playtesters ever noticed it.

Very cool Game! Love the Visuals and the Sound!

Amazing, I'd pay for this game. The visuals, the sound. The complexity of the game. It really makes you feel like a scared russian behind a console. Fantastic. It also fits the theme perfectly.

Really fun game, it gets really intense and its hard to track info but that just adds to the fun factor. It was a little hard to understand exactly what they were asking or what info i needed to confirm but it was a really good game.
