Good job on the dialogue! The game was great, and I appreciated the pixel art very much. Overall, it was pretty good.

I cannot believe how much dialogue and story you all were able to fit into just a week! Great work on that. I think the plot twist at the end was really cool, and I enjoyed following the story. I will say, there seemed to be a good handful of sprites that had pixel filtering setup in a way that made the sprites seem blurry, and overall took away from the visual cohesiveness of the world. That's a small thing though. Overall I think this is a really cool game. Well done!

Veeery sneaky. I likey. A couple of things. I'm sorry in advanced if anyone else has pointed some of these things out already:

First off, the mixels did drive me crazy. Mixels being a term for when you mix pixel resolutions. The characters were built out of small and large pixels for instance. Also some assets, like Peter, were blurry and some werent. Likely a nearest neighbor filter thing not being assigned right?

Also the dialogue trees. Note I am not a writer, but it feels like a lot of asking a question, to not get a real answer, and repeat that 4 or 5 times until you get some more interesting information. I know thats probably more realistic, but when most of the text in the game is short 6 word long ways of saying it wasn't me or I dont know or are you sure? It can get a little grating after awhile.

THAT SAID, I did really like the concept and the twist. I actually had suspicions early on but then forgot about it then had a big smile on my face at the end. It's something that also only kind of hits the way it does because this was a video game and not like a book or a movie. So the story experience I feel like did work, which was awesome! What is here is really good but there just needs to be more polish when it comes to how it's put together. This is really cool, and I hope y'all make more stuff like this.  Great job!

Very solid detective game, got me hooked right into the case. The music was good but the loops were a bit short which could get a little annoying at times while trying to read. Really good story!

Thanks for playing! Y'know, I tried to make good music for all rooms to always keep a fitting atmosphere into the gameplay. But making that many songs to be long was a nearly impossible thing to do in only a week. But I still appreciate the feedback, and if we ever turn this game into a bigger project, I hope you enjoy the remade soundtrack :D

I can see the effort being put into the dialogues (which has the most polish, with the stops, tension, and interconnected options), as well as the various in-house designs with matching vibes and bg music. Storyline is well-written, but I feel the ending is quite lack-luster and with no foreshadowing. The good point is that there is no text-wall except for the journal, but, most of the game just revolves around reading and picking dialogues which gives it more of a visual novel vibe. The streets scene could have some signs to know what building is what.

I enjoyed the game overall, though I got tired of reading at the guy's house with the recorder so I just picked the first dialogue option.

Liked the game, nice visuals and well, very good story. Still i belive some dialogues are a bit too long sometimes, and gameplay could be a little more interesting. Very nice game!!

Interesting game and a great plot twist, as it should be in these kinds of games. Some kind of better indicators of what is what would have been good when trying to find next spot to go, but wasn't a huge blocker.
Good job!
