There is one last issue with wilderness imprints. Which is that getting an imprint pauses the game. Which is understandable since you want to read them. The problem is that there are 1100 of them. From my calculations it will take about 85 hours to get all the imprints. Which would require you to actively read and dismiss the event popup every four or five minutes.

Basically the mechanics now exist to afk and let the imprints be found. But the actual discovery interrupts the flow. It would be preferable if the process could run in the background and stack up events that you could read all in one go.

Edit: Also that 4-5 minute time is at 5,000x speed. It still requires an immense amount of in game years. So I wouldn't recomend anyone try to collect all the imprints until you get at 5,000x speed.

My poor computer only going at 1300 as max speed. ( and since 1.2.0 mostly being at x600-x900 in the Wilderness), I guess it will take some time before I start Act II

You guys get to 5000x speed?

You need to finish the latest longevity researches

I am aware you get it at 1000 years, the joke is "the game runs above 1000x?"

I have mentioned to the dev before that the fancy worker speed implementation doesn't matter if people can't actually run at those speeds.

Can I ask what CPU and browser you're running, and whether hardware acceleration is enabled? I'm starting to suspect there may be a compatibility issue here rather than simply a lack of processing power.

In testing I've forced the simulation into a CPU budget roughly comparable to a heavily constrained E-core, with much larger data sets than normal play, and it was still able to run well beyond 5,000x. If you're getting stuck around 1,000x or below, something else may be limiting it.

If I can get the hardware/browser combinations from a few people having this problem I may be able to actually reproduce it instead of blindly throwing performance changes at the game.

You're getting imprints every 4-5 minutes?? I just posted a detailed update on one of the hotfix pages about my current imprint luck, which is four imprints in 34 lives, which probably took at least 4-5 hours to run because I was switching wilderness regions for beast form adaptations. Also I don't have 5000x speed available yet, so it was mostly at 500x or 1000x. There's just no way the imprints are accessible with the current system, but the Imperial City implies that we should be able to complete imprint series.

I just increased the chance increase every 100 years from .5 to 1.5%
