Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I'm really glad the classic arcade feel came through.
The thin bullets were a deliberate choice for the retro look, but I can see how they might get lost against the black background. I'll definitely keep readability in mind for future games. Saving high scores is a bit tricky for me in Pyxel, but I'd like to give it another try someday!
I also played Sky Guardian — the art, sound, and music are fantastic. The clouds immediately reminded me of TwinBee, which I've always loved. Really enjoyed it. Great work!
