Description
The game this soundtrack is composed for is most likely an exploration game or visual novel. Alternatively, it could be used for a short film. I used Ableton to make my music. Each track represents a phase of life, death, or rebirth. The first three are phases of life, the middle two are phases of death, and the final two are phases of rebirth. I composed each track by, well...starting with a sample or sound I really liked, as well as making sure all the tracks tie in together.

What a weird collection of sounds, so cool, so odd.
and OMG "Golden Years" is so awesome, the voice is nice, the shiny effects cool and the groove send me to move.

Woah, what a first impression on the soundtrack! Really dig this.
I'm super into most of the dissonance, it gives me old house/trance vibes - particularly love the section at 2:30-ish on Golden Years. The Styx vocal does seem a little much - but that might be personal taste.
I'm picturing a strange, offbeat psychedelic style adventure game.
Super funky entry. The distorted voices and overall oddness of the music make it a very interesting vibe. I could imagine this in a game like LSD dream simulator but more action oriented for example.
At times it does feel unintentionally dissonant. Like the vocals to me sound like they're clashing with the notes in The River Styx sometimes.

Woah this is so fun. I really enjoyed the through line you created throughout the entire work. Textures were amazing, thanks for the great listen!
What a trip. And there's interesting use with dissonance which adds depth to the pieces because life isn't just one thing. And so these clashes really encapsulate that, with the exception of Overture, because it's all new again and memory's wiped, so you're just ready for the ride. Then Samsara starts with this groove you can settle into and then near the end it just yanks you out of that comfort. Great concept, SUPER funky, really sweet listening. Excellent work
I was surprised how fun the tracks were. I think all of them are pretty good, but the highlight song must be the third one (Golden Years) for me. It's really catchy. You've done a great job!
this is just funky as hell. great basslines, great percussion, amazing, AMAZING synth textures, pretty chords, loved all the vocal samples. the vocal on golden years was a little too dissonant for me, but the voice itself is great (is that you singing?) and the dissonance everywhere else sounded cool. this is made to be played LOUD in headphones.

Awesome cover art!!! Really love the soundscape! The breakdown in the first track is super interesting. The mixing is well executed, as well. I like the vibe you build across all tracks - I particularly like your percussion lines! I like how you build on certain themes and add variations to mixing within a track to keep things interesting as well. I remember you saying in the discord that you were concerned about your tracks being too dissonant. I will say that it might help to try to learn up on chord progressions and how to build chords, composing melodic lines along those structures! That being said, though, dissonance isn't necessarily a bad thing, as I use a lot of it myself. I think you achieve well thought out dissonance pretty good in this submission! There are only a few moments where it comes across as a bit too dense. Overall though, this is a pretty solid submission!!! Thanks for sharing :)
