Description
In the year 21XX, Earth was deemed officially uninhabitable. Most humans have left their home as a part of Koloni Angkasa, looking amongst the stars for resources and survival. Earth went from our origin to just another forgotten planet.
Throughout the last 20,000 years, we’ve looted countless other planets, most of which have succumbed to their own apocalypse. However, these past few years have been somewhat of a drought. We need to expand our search to include those with mobile life.
To this end, you’ll be equipped with a static discharge blade and an adrenaline supply to help you focus. Good luck.

Track 1: Weaponized Adrenaline
This first track plays when you land on the alien planet, scouring it for resources. Alarms are blaring, adrenaline is literally pumping through your body, and the crackling of your blade makes up the sounds of this track. You are meant to be in control here. After all, what you don’t know can’t hurt you.
Track 2: Forest Cover
This next track uses the bassline from the previous track as an opener. The alarms are still blaring, but not as frequently. It’s not an emergency anymore. As you explore the world, it starts to get in your head in the form of a piano. This is the first hint that the world may not be all evil.
Track 3: Overgrown Circuitry
Keeping the piano, it’s the first time the world initiates the music. The alarms are no longer here, but the adrenaline (represented by the bass and drums) is unrelenting. You have little time to stop and think as the world introduces yet another instrument to your song.
Track 4: Sulphur Desert
You come across this strange desert, most likely created by some sort of factory or mining facility collapsed by the relentless storms. The pads scream at you in a sort of calming way. You’re running out of adrenaline, but there’s still enough supply to get you through.
5: Adrenal Malfunction
You’ve run out. No more adrenaline. Your body is in pain, but there’s a certain calmness in the air. Nothing is attacking you anymore. You hear the forgotten songs of this world cry out at you. These pads; have they been here the whole time? How long have they been trying to reach you? You black out, pain taking over consciousness.
6: Harmonious Settlement
You wake up in a different location, weapons stripped. Armor gone. No communication, no adrenaline, no hostility. The creatures you once fought simply exist alongside you. They’re taking a risk, but they realize what you are. This is their song. Your forgotten world. Your home on Earth.

Message from the artist
I hope you enjoy listening to this! Please leave feedback if you have the energy; I read them all!
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
The music starts out with electronic elements and slowly incorporates acoustic and otherworldly instruments as the player progresses through the game. The premise of this entire OST is that humanity finds this planet to scavenge, not realizing that it's Earth.

Fuck yeahh, "Weaponized Adrenaline" got me really pumped. Feels like something from Hotline Miami.
Great entry, love the variety of vibes you got down while keeping the narrative personality throughout. Great work!
Congratulations on your work! The listening experience was truly captivating. The way the acoustic instrumentation was combined with the electronics really had the ability to open my imagination.
I LOVED how you utilized the piano and bass guitars throughout these 6 tracks. I can tell how much effort you put into the layering, especially of all the instruments, especially in that first track. It also told a story of struggle to peace really well, with the pure sound of that piano melody in the final track. The storytelling aspect was my favorite part. Amazing job, MistaLOD!
Weaponized Adrenaline:
I love the sound design of this song! I feel like the kick drum is a tad too dry so I would put on a slight high-pass reverb to keep the lows from muddying up while expanding the kick drum into the mix a lot cleaner. The snare also feels weak so throwing a compressor on the main drum bus along with a transient shaper will completely transform the drums. I love your usage of time signature swapping from three bars of 4/4 to one with 2/4. You have a good feel for effective ostinatos without making them feel repetitive, and I appreciate you for that!
Forest Cover:
I love your rhythmic polymeters and melody ideas! Same thing with the drums here. I enjoy how connected it feels. I feel like a soft background pad in the more intense sections would go a long way and fill in the empty space there.
Overgrown Circuitry:
I feel like the bass sidechain feels a bit too powerful in this song. Same thing with the drums here. I literally have no words, this is really good.
Sulphur Desert:
Incredibly atmospheric... I loved listening to this piece - might be my favorite so far! Again, your ostinatos are IMMENSELY effective and actually pull me into the soundtrack rather than make me wanna punch myself in the face ninety-one times, and for that, you get my 'Very Super Cool Award for a Person Award' award. I don't hand these out often.
Adrenal Malfunction:
The piano is SOOOO good! The background textures are tasty and the chords are delicious.
Harmonious Settlement:
Goosebumps. What an ending to one of the most immersive pieces of music I've heard in a long time. Thank you MistaLOD!
I am incredibly honored to receive the “Very Super Cool Award for a Person Award” award from you. Thank you for giving me a word for ostinato.
I’ll be experimenting with your feedback before the next jam because I agree with a lot of it so hopefully it’ll help me a bit with the mixing/mastering side of things. I was debating putting a pad in Forest Cover but I left it out in the end because I wanted a bit of emptiness to contrast with the rest of it all. I probably could’ve gone with something more subtle to not have it completely dry but still. Always looking for advice on drums!
Thanks for listening and for your extensive feedback!
I always found drums difficult for some reason lol
Really enjoyed your submission, loved how you really made an interactive soundtrack with tracks blending one into another, with recurring instruments and motifs!
And the choice of instruments is perfect too!
Thank you! I tried extra hard this time to really make the tracks connected with each other so I’m glad to see it was noticed.
