Description
A mechanical romp from the forgotten world of the geoxyle, through the wasteland that forgot.

The humans have been scoured from the land. Only a few pockets of underground forest habitat remains - forgotten about in the quest to pave the world.
Except you just had to go looking for what was out there, didn't you?
Also there's a punk half robot raccoon and he has a brooklyn accent and he's precious to us.
Soundtrack skims from safety to danger. I have 4 minutes left to submit and I'm panic so uh there's a boss fight with a threshing machine and the raccoon accidentally leads them back to your home because he didn't realise he was microchipped sorry :(
Oh there's a grace period oops.
- Stone Sky Hearth -
We begin deep within the geoxyle, an underground forest like root network - the forgotten, untouched worlds left behind when the world was ravaged by corporations, robots and general bad stuff y'know? You don't even know that there *is* an outside to this. This is your world.
- Beyond -
Well, now you know there's an outside to this. And it's bad.
- Dumpster Divin' -
AY I'M DIVIN' HERE. You meet a punk, somehow brooklyn based, part-robot raccoon. While standoffish at first, they take pity on you clearly out of your element and offer to show you the ropes. How to survive in the wasteland. He's your buddy and if anything happens to him I will fight you.
- why would they even invent an enormous mammal thresher? -
BOSS FIGHT TIME. Your beloved raccoon companion is trapped in the confines of the, implausible but very real, enormous mammal thresher. Save that little guy or he won' be walkin' here or *anywhere* anymore.
- Black Sky Hearth -
You escaped by the skin (and metal) of your teeth. You take your new friend back home and share an uneasy last night upon the surface.
- [REDACTED?] -
They microchipped your bud and followed you home. What happens next? You decide. But if you hurt the raccoon I'll cry.

Message from the artist
We hope that the snippets of music we've managed to create for a much bigger idea are a good little listen. We've been fairly rushed on this one due to other commitments, but tried our best to get something out and are still proud of what we managed to do in a very short time.
We have also fallen in love with a nastyboy trashpunk robo-raccoon dreamt up quite close to the end of our creation process proving, as always, that creating things for real and doing it yourself always means the most.
Theme
How does it fit the theme?
We imagined a long, long post-apocalyptic world where the surface is almost fully mechanised and industrial, while remaining humans live a more rustic and folksy life underground. Through the music, we tried to represent both perspectives and their different interpretations of the songs of the forgotten world of the past.

wow quite some variety and huge difference between tracks.
very cool stuff, congrats !
I really liked it, especially the nastiest tracks (and I mean that in the best possible way).
I loved the tracks with distortion and bitcrush; the mix was really interesting, and overhall it had a great vibe on all tracks!
Congrats to your team!!
this is cool as hell!! good stuff guys. cautiously optimistic about the film adaptation (love ridley scott but he can be hit or miss)
I know it doesn’t count to the ratings but your story write up cracked me up and is super creative. Love the world you’re building and great sense of humor!
Stone sky hearth: I’m unsure how intentional it is but there’s just a liiiiitle bit of messiness to some of the instrumentation. Where the timing felt off enough to notice (on things that did not seem intentionally off beat) and kind of break the groove, maybe that’s the vibe you’re going for. Generally, I really liked the texture you’re building here and it perfectly captures what you described.
Beyond: perfect ambiance for what you’re describing, no notes.
Dumpster diving: fascinating vibe. I’m loving this like quick sort of sound warp thing bringing the volume down on your repeating line. The dadada-dudududu….-Dudu-voooooop thing haha. What is that??? Please tell me! PERFECT amount of crunch here. If it was any more it would be too much for me but it’s right in that sweet spot. Love this one.
Why would they: brutal, so good. The distortion may be too much for me personally here but I think that’s personal preference. These drums are NASTY I love them
Black sky hearth: great feel with this one. Love your bass slide beawwwwwwwooooooooo.
Redacted: diiiiiiirty. This one had me moving a lot, fantastic groove. Possible the middle repeating part drags a bit too long.
Summary: easily the best submission I’ve reviewed so far. Love y’all’s work, hope to see more from you in the future!
Nice job! Both perspectives are well-represented here. The folk songs are cozy and the electronic songs are gnarly.
Favourite Track: Dumpster Divin'
This submission is already a favorite of mine. Really charming universe you two got going, and the music carries it really well ! Dumpster Divin' is already in my playlist.
Thank you very much for listening! Glad you dig it, we're now aiming for a major hollywood movie for trash raccoon by 2027.
With Danny DeVito as the NY raccoon ofc!
