How does the game fit the theme?
Whoever had to go to sketchy sites to download a piece of media knows that judging which sites are trustworthy is a very hard task if you aren't already informed, as such I thought that a fun whimsical game about a girl having her house turn on her as she tries to download a movie would be a fun twist on the prompt
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Most sound effects were obtained from free resource websites, mainly OpenGameArt and a few from Freesounds
A fire asset used in a poster was taken from a free images site and the computer blurred backgrounds are all modified screenshots from Windows XP
The intro song was taken from OpenGamesArt, composed by Juhani Junkala
Everything else was composed, coded and drawn by us

Fun and frantic game! Gets pretty tought to keep up with everything at times. I thought the art style and the music were fun and paired together really well with the feeling of the gameplay. Would love to be taught what I’ll have to do before being thrown into it. Took me a few tries to figure out what exactly I was supposed to do to turn off the wifi. I was looking for a router to click on but lucked out and clicked on the computer. Overall it was a good game!

Loved it! I couldn’t be in peace for half a second because of that lovely generator haha
😂 When I moved the battery, the whole screen started shaking and it made me shake too! It was such a cool idea. I was constantly looking around carefully, with my pupils wide open like a cat, trying to spot everything. It was really fun and engaging. Great job!
You‘d think it would be easy when you‘re being told what you need to do. Not at all. The difficulty curve works smoothly. The more things you have to take care of, the harder it becomes. And that is where all the fun lies.
I enjoyed playing this a lot! The art style is also quite charming. The main issue I had was the music being a bit loud during gameplay kinda made it harder to hear the sound effects. Good job!
