Mod is up to date. I can launch the game. Game saves. I quit the game come back all saves are gone and cant start the single player. Then have to delete and reinstall the game and the mod. Happens everytime. Not sure what the problem is. On windows 11 25H2.
Be sure your game is located in a correct place without any restrictions (for example windows disk or steam stuff). Check FAQ, and do not use GOG version.
Recommended options: non system Disk selection, clean vanilla CryTek CD Far Cry 1.4 version or from Steam. Run the game from administration rights.
I found the issue to be checking enhanced was the problem. Did not use enhanced and now it works.
Which file is the exe for the FCAV? I would like to try reshade to see if I can get it working with a nice crt effect but trying farcye.exe in OpenFC or Bin32 does not get reshade to load when the game starts.
Also is there a way to turn off when hit that the screen blurs?
Reshade and similar stuff will not work in FCAV to avoid cheating in multiplayer (anti-cheat protection). What about blur, try to download this for now: https://farcry1.itch.io/far-cry-advanced-version/devlog/902743/fix-of-wrong-ligh...
