I felt strong emotions while listening to Warped, during which, I felt that the arrangement shrunk down from that botanica sound at the perfect time, then I love how dramatic the build gets with the right harmonies, drum beat, and lead synth sound, and lastly, a very gnarly outro to contrast what came before. I’m getting house vibes from Front to Back. There’s one nondiatonic chord in there that really keeps it from sounding too ordinary for me. And pairing the key change with the chopped vocal was a good decision and a good development to the track. The guitars in Go go go sound great - did you record them yourself? The nondiatonic bent note sounds great, and I just realized it’s the same as the one in Front to Back, so that’s a cool way to reuse a motive. Earjammers is, of course, an epic closing track to tie everything together.
I felt that the artistic vision on this soundtrack was fully realized, pulling in from many different influences, while still creating a cohesive story and sound world. A beautiful, bittersweet emotion permeates throughout, especially during Warped which will be a memorable moment for me from this jam. If you continue working on this project and add some tracks with vocals, I’d probably be listening night and day. Amazing work!!
