[Godot] [PAID / REVSHARE] Looking for a Artist for a Dark Survival RPG

I'm currently developing a post-apocalyptic dark fantasy survival RPG. The project is already past the idea stage. The core story framework, world setting, major characters and main narrative structure have already been established, and a writer is also involved in the project. So I am mainly looking for an artist to help develop a consistent visual language for the game, rather than asking someone to build the project from scratch.

The visual direction is dark, worn, oppressive and a little strange. I'm not looking for bright or clean fantasy art.

Right now I mainly need help with things such as:

environment / map art

ruins, forests, graveyards, dungeons and interiors

props and environmental details

possibly characters, creatures and animation later

helping establish a consistent visual style for the game

I'm open to two kinds of cooperation, online.

1. Paid work

If your rate is reasonable for an indie project, I'm happy to pay for the work. We can start with a small paid test or one environment piece first and see if we work well together.

2. Long-term collaboration / revenue share

If you really like the project and want to become more involved, I'm also open to working together long-term. In that case, you would participate in the development of the game and receive an agreed share of the game's revenue after release.I'm also open to a combination of both — some paid work during development plus revenue share for someone who stays with the project long-term.I'm not looking for someone to work for free.

What matters most to me is finding someone whose style fits the game and who is interested in actually building something together. If you're interested, please send me:

1 your portfolio

2 your usual rates, if you do paid work

Thanks!

Hi! I’m interested in helping with the art for your post-apocalyptic dark fantasy RPG. I’m a 3D environment artist experienced with Blender, and I’d love to create dark, atmospheric environments, ruins, forests, dungeons, interiors, and environmental props that fit your visual direction.

I’m interested in paid work and would be happy to start with a small paid test. I’d love to discuss the project, rates, and requirements further.

Thanks!

Hi! I know you're mainly looking for an artist right now, but your project pitch really caught my attention — especially the dark, oppressive post-apocalyptic fantasy direction.

If you happen to need a music composer for the project at some point, I’d be very interested and available. I compose atmospheric, dark, electronic and orchestral game music, so the world you’re describing feels very close to the kind of projects I’d love to work on.

Feel free to reach out if music becomes something you’re looking for!

Thank you

I'm mostly interested in a paid work short term, but if we'll work well together I'm happy for a RevShare

Hey, I know you’re mainly looking for a pixel artist right now, but I’m a Godot developer and your project sounds interesting.

I currently work on Rogue Chess with Phatheon, mostly on gameplay systems, debugging, prototyping, and turning design ideas into working features.

If you end up needing help with Godot implementation, gameplay systems, UI, asset integration, or bug fixing, I’d be interested in helping.

Hi! Would pre-rendered Blender props fit your art pipeline? I can make small, worn environmental objects for the ruins and interiors — signs, grave markers or simple storage props.

Here's a low-poly prop I made, with a textured model and source files:

For a US$5 paid test, I can make one simple static prop from an agreed reference, with a transparent PNG view, Blender source, GLB and one small revision. I'd like to start with paid work and build from there if the style fits.

If this workflow suits the game, please share one reference and the camera angle / target image size you use.
