How have you integrated the theme "Freedom but at what cost" in your game?
A developer created a world, perfect to him, everything he wanted. His body gave up and ended up in this exact world, trapped there for eternity. Is this really the freedom he wanted to create?
Where and which 3 colors have you used?
I have used red (#ff0000), black (#000000) and white (#FFFFFF)
It looks nice but i sadly cannot say its fun, the maze was hella long and there was nothing interesting along the way, I was beggining to think the maze is infinite or something and this is some kind of troll to waste my time lol, but there was an hole to jump into after like 10 minutes of walking
Nice game. but I felt lost most of the time haha. I really liked the atmosphere. Although in my opinion, I think the game could give more info to the player about what to do
If I were to rate this game based on exerience and emotions, it would come out on the very top of the jam! It's a truly amazing concept that is wonderfully executed. The feeling of tension and the fear of Red increases as you play, and discovering that Red was moving terrified me. Such a beautiful work )
artstyle was very unique and background music made a vibe, but I didn't understand where to go orwhat i need to do:(
(in short, I got lost xD, but overall I think there's potential to do something with this)
This game has a ton of atmosphere, and I love the smattering of raster points - this is really great! I especially love it when I started finding the moving enemies. I really wish there was more gameplay - maybe more focused levels instead of labyrinths, so it doesn't feel like a walking sim so much? Regardless, I love it, and I love the end.
This is really cool! I absolutely love the visual concept, how just a very small number of points is enough for the brain to say "yep, that's a full shape!". Also really liked the contrast between wanting to scan more, and it (personally, at least) becoming harder to see the world as I did so.
Simple idea, beautifully executed. Nice game!
I was bored after time and end up rage quitting but the atmosphere and the creative idea of LIDAR is amazing
I really liked the game, the idea of painting to reveal the path is brilliant, and I genuinely felt lost and anxious while playing lol.
Congrats!
I loved playing your game
the theme use was very creative and imaginative
the gameplay was a bit hard for me
i am not used to of this genre
but yeah
cool game
:)
This game is very neat!
I've never played a lidar game, but seeing everything update in real time is cool. I like the weeping angel effect on the enemies as you lidar them.
I did find myself being frustrated at how slow I was moving though. I think it would be nice to have a sprint button that inadvertently speeds up lidars going away and how quick enemies move. It's a riskier form of movement, but also gives you the opportunity to move faster than a snails pace in a massive maze.
Nice game but far too few checkpoints. Can't beat it. Sorry.
